Perusing the internet I found a great show to watch

I've got about ten episodes left, it is talked about A LOT on the huddle, which is leading me to sense sarcasm, but I could be wrong.

I started watching it when a debate over best show ever broke out, it and Breaking Bad.

No debate to me.  Breaking Bad was better.  If I were to score it so far...I'd give BB a 9.5 and The Wire an 8.24.

It gets much better, and the seasons are very diverse. The plot continues but different aspects of the city are shown. Major characters remain, but new ones come too.

I do think your grade is spot on though.

I'm not doubting it can get better, but so far it's not the "be all, end all" of TV shows.  So far, in my TV viewing experience, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, are better.  Not by much, but still better.  My opinion may change as the show goes on though, since I'm only about 10 episodes in.

What it is, is a very well written, well acted, well produced TV show...no doubt about that.

It took me forever to figure out where I had seen him before, but the actor who played "Gale" from Breaking Bad is on season 5 of The Wire.

Oh, I will watch the rest of the series. Season 2 just feels like they weren't expecting to be renewed and just threw something together at the last minute. It just feels rushed. Not to mention that the new characters really aren't that interesting or appealing.

I thought the characters were mighty dry, too.

It's supposed to be the "working man" aspect of the city.

It was kinda stale to me too, but it's made up for in later seasons.

You will meet some major players for later on the series in 2.

    • Everyone keeps arguing all these teams have great TE's that made them successful. THATS BS! What makes those teams great is QB play and we don't have that. So again even getting a NON-INLINE TE who can run a fast 40 time isnt going to get us anywhere without competent QB play consistently. Which we don't have by a long shot. So honestly all these great teams have a TE argument doesnt hold water to me.  Mahomes would be nasty without Kelce, Lamar would blow you away without Andrews, does it help? of course any weapon will help but only if you have someone making those correct reads week to week. When we have that then I'd be all in on a game breaking TE but unfortunately we are stuck with one of the most inconsistent starting QB's currently in the NFL.  Not to mention all the TE's mentioned are COMPLETE TE's not just a receiving threat with drop issues which Sadiq does. Argue all you want but nothing will change that fact other than getting a consistent QB week to week in a Panthers uniform which doesnt seem to be happing anytime soon.
    • They don't have guidelines for hand size for the backup QB.
    • It wasn't sarcasm at all, the Panthers scouting requirements for TE's are similar to the ones they use for OL as far as height and arm length are concerned. 100% true.    It's why I've been surprised that they've kept Tremble since the new staff got into place. They'll take a chance on guys later in the draft with shorter arms but if it's going to be a big contract or a high draft pick, expect them to follow the guidelines that the beat reporters have been mentioning because of fan interest in Sediq.
