Carolina won 8 straight.  That is an incredible feat to say the least.  8 straight.  The Panthers were essentially DUE for a poor game.  

 

 

Sure their poor game came at a terrible time, but the season is far from over.

 

At the very least, we're playing 4 more games this year.  Probably 5.  I see this team coming out a playing pissed off the next 3 weeks to end the year.  They just got embarrassed on NBC.  

 

This game shouldn't take away anything from the Panthers.  Still a damn good defense and still have one of the best playmakers in all of sports with Newton. 

 

Remember when the Ravens got throttled against the Broncos late in the year last year? Why can't that be us?

 

 

And if you want to look even deeper down the road, we have DG at the helm in the FO, and has pieced together a pretty damn good team, in one year.  I see him making this team even better.

 

And Ron Rivera should not go anywhere.  He's working with what he has.  He has an aging group of skill players (D-Lo, Smitty) a makeshift O-Line (he has a DT out there for god sake) and cast aways at Wide Receiver (Ginn, Hixon).  Couple that with a role-playing RB/FB and an injury riddled Stewart and his options are limited.

 

 

Grow some nads and realize this team is still a premier team.  We've been spoiled the last 9 weeks and we just took an uppercut to the chin by a more experienced team.

I can't believe I'm the positive one here tonight (compared to a portion of posters). Nice to see some sense around these parts.

 

Lets be real here.

This is NOT an overreaction. You've been on the huddle long enough to know a true melt down... don't be fooled by these bandwagoners. This is not a melt down and no huddle fan is freaking out

 

The issues before the win streak, during the win streak, after the win streak still remains. Let's act like we didn't just have a repeat of a loss earlier this year

I actually think it's relatively calm. The only players people are calling for is Jstew and Bell. Usually it's fire the owner, bomb the stadium, start a fund and let's build from scratch.

Overall, we left two TDs out on the field. We normally score in those situations. It will only hurt the team if they allow it to and I expect some changes will be made. We need to work on some things against the Jets to get prepared for the final 2 games.

      They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look

      Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
