I'm quite aware of that but we gotta remember that we've won 9 games with this squad and coaching staff and stronger teams like New Orleans and Seattle have gotten their ass kicked too. Now is not the time to blink.

 

Well I think that's where we dont see eye to eye. I expected to lose honestly... I expected us to split 1-1. But no way did I expect to have our asses kicked. What I also didnt expect is for us to get into the redzone and revert to the Panthers earlier in the year

They had a bad game.  Hell, the Seahawks lost @ San Francisco today.  Carolina was due for a bad game and the Saints are pretty much unbeatable in the dome (check the stats).  I'm just hoping they can rebound quickly and put this game behind them.  Still a lot to play for.

1) lets just let DWill and JStew ride the pine for a while. They look like mcgahee and ogbania out there

2) can all our plays be 3rd down? We know 1st and 2nd are going to be "2 yard run, then 2 yard pass/incompletion" anyway

Because the NFL is just an expansion of the NBA. Defense doesnt win in this league anymore, its all about putting up basketball like scores and exciting offenses and we dont have that. Cam's deep ball is terrible, we have one oft injured RB and another RB that has clearly lost a step. Our QB is way too streaky and inconsistent.

Our secondary is awful and we have had a ton of lucky breaks. We are not a dynasty type team. The Vikes also beat a couple good teams last season as well. We just arent a good team. Our offense is very suspect, we have a stout running D in a league that doesnt run the ball.

Our defensive ranking is over inflated because of the weak offensive competition we have faced.

A great structure can't be built without a great base

 

Why can't this defense be taken to the next level with a couple good DB's?

 

Why can't Cam be a better QB with a better WR?

 

Our problems are extremely fixable

I agree. But, it all hinges on what happens Sunday. If we respond with a nice game against the Jets, no problem. If we see the same poo against the Jets... Well, the. We had an issue.

It's all about how we respond.

 

Considering how this offense has looked vs any team with a non college level defense.....

 

We may score 6 points next week.

 

Lucky for us the Jets may only score 3...still a huge issue...we suck vs good defenses.
