Video of Hits on Aaron Rodgers...

Candyass? He got straight up on both hits and continued playing without missing a beat.

A few plays before, Rodgers ran the same bootleg. Just before running out of bounds though, he took a few extra yards in front of one of our defenders assuming they wouldn't touch him. Peppers made sure he wouldn't make the same mistake again. Face it, he was playing like a douchebag, and Peppers taught him a lesson. Great play.

Quit getting a hard-on for every quarterback not named Jake Delhomme.

I don't think he was playing like a douchebag, they're aren't any special rules the players follow. You play to win and Rodgers wasn't doing anything any other QB would do. He's young and inexpericened so he pushed it too far...you're right that Peppers made sure it wouldn't happen again, but I wouldn't classify Rodgers as a douchebag.

He was just about (and I stress that) to step out of bounds. The defender covering him let up, although Rodgers was still in bounds and was technically fair game, and decided that a big collision wasn't required. We see it all the time, not for fear of a late hit foul, but because we assume the quarterback is going straight out of bounds seeing as they don't love getting destroyed by larger players.

Rodgers took advantage of the other player's courtesy and danced his way back in for an extra yard or two. Our defense tried showing Rodgers some sportsmanship and he exploited it for his own gain. He was asking for it, and Peppers gave it to him.

We see it all the time, not for fear of a late hit foul, but because they assume the quarterback is going straight out of bounds seeing as they don't love getting demolished. Rodgers took advantage of the other player's courtesy and danced his way back in for an extra yard or two. If that isn't playing like a candyass, I don't know what is. We all know Peppers isn't a dirty player so it's obvious that this struck a nerve. Rodgers got what he deserved.

Watch the film a few more times. I love Peppers and love the play, but Rodgers was CLEARLY a full 2' out of bounds when the hit occurred. There isn't even a question of that. He might have tried to get away with that move earlier, but he didn't on that play and the reason might have been Julius Peppers...

I was talking about another play that happened somewhere in that drive (I think), not the one in the video. It's been a while since I've seen that play, so forgive me if my memory is playing tricks on me.

No problem from me...

There aren't any rules in poker that says you can't look at another players hand, but you wouldn't play with someone who constantly tries to do it would ya?

i really don't consider it cheating. This kind of limbo goes on all the time, Rodgers took advantage of the situation and the situation fixed itself. I don't think it was underhanded. It was within an acceptable limit of competition for him to do that and i think it was acceptable for peppers to make him pay the fine for skiriting the sideline.

    • Sir. You have been shouting down any and all valid skepticism and criticism of our #1 overall pick for 2+ years running. You spent all last spring running cover for him and complaining about derails and toxicity only for us to open the season with back to back blowout losses largely contributed by Bryce Young's abysmal play. You have engaged in the exact same formula this spring. You've spent the last two months rage pooing my posts like an angry ten year old even while you've had me on ignore just for speaking the truth about this QB room and our offense. We opened the season with yet another blowout loss this time to a previously 4 win team. And here you are still trying to play the victim while weaponizing the reactions. Any suggestion of you being victimized by anyone else here is a complete and utter farce. You know it. I know it. Have yourself a great day.
    • If he went to Clemson he would be off the board. Still hard to believe they have never drafted a Clemson player.
    • Simply put, Evero has been shafted during his time here. The talent we left him to play with last season was criminal. They've invested some more into the D this offseason, but it's still a unit that's woefully short of talent.  We should have let him walk in the offseason when he wanted to go.
