Prepare Yourself For Some Of the Best Football From Cam.

Remember watching Brady at this prime - turn a bunch of No Names into Superheroes..... well we got a sampling of that today. The team just needs now to adjust to that and watch Cam take over this game from the pocket and destroy each team that dares to beat him by throwing the ball.

We no longer rely on steve smith to win games..(Remember that heartbreaking loss against seattle in the playoffs when they quadrupled steve smith) . Yep - Seahawks shut us DOWN by taking away smith. Not this time - we have a missile launcher in Cam and Boy will he let it rip.

I believe loosing smith had the entire team in shock until they realized that this was the new reality. No one was going to come in and win the game for them. This happened a couple of games ago - when smith went down and Cam went into Hyper focus mode. He did it today and give him a week uuuuuu iiiiiiiiii - and let the team adjust and watch fireworks.

Honestly - that was a godamn beautiful game.. i feel pissed i didnt man the f#4ck up and drive down from raleigh and watch it in the rain. I did it for the Patriots game and it was amazing - i didnt think any other game would top that. This one did - Godamn it was beautiful.

Defense : WOW

It will get better when he doesn't have one person in mind to rely on. Watch him start spreading that ball around like crazy and he will do it better than brady on his best days. Unlike hot potato over there in Washington, Cam doesnt need his legs to win the game : he can beat you straight for the pocket and the saints got a taste of that today.

Or how about we continue to let our number 2 ranked defense showcase their abilities. In order for Cam to show his best, he needs weapons...weapons we do not have.

This team is about defense and the offense staying out of its way. We need about 20 from Cam and Luke and company should be able to take care of the rest.

...take a big, mobile, strong-armed athletic QB with great intangibles and see if he can learn the playbook and how to decipher NFL defenses. If he can, then don't worry about whether he'll revolutionize the game. Because if he can figure out how to move the ball in the NFL like he did in college, he won't need to.

Guess what.  He's learned the playbook and how to decipher NFL defenses.

I expect him to be ok for three quarters a game.  And when he has to move the ball, he will.  Just like today, just like against NE, just like SF.  It doesn't matter if you give him Keary Colbert and Dwayne Jarrett, he'll get the ball down the field somehow.  It's what he did in college, and this year he's started doing it at the next level.

And chew on this.  Next year we will have the same defense, maybe with an upgrade at a DB position.  And we'll certainly have a better OL and possibly another good WR.  This is still a pretty young team.

It's a good time to be a fan. :)

    • Rico runs all over the Saints Panthers 34 Saints 17
    • That would be crazy especially to us because our pick took Williams. And all the other talent we provided for them.  Tbey were smart we were stupid.
    • If you look at almost every QB in a team with a winning record or consistently in the playoffs their QB averages over 200 ypg. Here are a few ypg averages for 2025: Daniel Jones: 267, that is with an amazing RB. Mahomes: 261, that was with a few games without some of his weapons Baker: 239, lost his best weapon and still is putting up numbers Penix: 232, Falcons are floundering and Penix ypg is still higher than Bryce's Allen: 229 Lawrence: 230 Bryce: 173 and he isn't anywhere close to these other QBs. I included two teams that are not that great and Lawrence is not that good and still is posting higher passing stats then Bryce. Bryce has got to get his passing stats higher if he wants to keep his job. I want to win a Super Bowl and a QB struggling to pass 150 yards a game will not cut it. No, the conservative playcalling is not because of the young receivers and o-line. It is because Canales knows he is limited with Bryce and has to work around him.  Bryce has struggled to pass ever since he entered the league and 3 years in it is obvious he will never be a QB that can be relied to win the game with his arm.
