Dorsey's dropping the ball as QB Coach.

I would take his oline over ours and Eldelmen Amendola and the rest of their WR over ours.

The Patriots o-line is key, when you have time to set your feet every play and you have a knack for superb decision making things will happen no matter what wr crew.

I am on record for wanting a wr in the draft though, Smitty is aging and Lafell can not be counted on consistently

I'm not trying defend Cam because he did have a bad game.

But Jesus Christ.

How many QB in a Rain storm, missing your best weapon, injuried , and playing against a top 5 defense looks good??

Brees didn't look great either but nobody question his QB coach??

The drive Brees has directly after Cam had his high throws..... Brees had the ball slip out on passes.

But let's remember Brady's numbers didn't start to blow up until the Welkers, Moss And Gronk seasons. Brady had avg. Numbers with Troy Brown and Givins group.

Do you remember being worried about any of the Pat WR in the Superbowl in 03?

All pro o-line can do that for you, especially when the refs are on your side

i agree with jtnc it's footwork.

i mentioned this earlier in the year and still do but Cam just holds the ball too long. if we had elite wr's either they would get open earlier OR know how to GET open ala what Big Ben gets to enjoy.

yesterday there were a couple of times i thought Cam could have tucked the rock and just ran, even if for 5 yards or have more designed roll outs.

it just makes sense to me to get him out of the pocket ever so often to keep the D guessing.

maybe Shula is sandbagging as we go into the playoffs and unleashes his bag of awesomness.

Maybe.

Or maybe our WR corps and OL just aren't that great :(

the wr's and ol are a shade below average. no question.

but that doesn't mean you keep running standard routes or plays that lead to nowhere.

more misdirection with the threat of Cam running can only help.

less talent ALWAYS equals more coaching. i learned that coaching middle school sports.

Maybe it's not cams motion? It's could be his footwork or his mechanics breaking down under pressure.

if you look closely at the majority of his throws, he never steps into poo, he uses all upper body and arm strength for his throws, which isn't bad, but a lot of the time, he has time to step into his throws and doesn't, causing them to sail

    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
    • I just saw the funniest thing...or very disappointing, depending how you handle misery. A guy on YouTube did a 2027 'way too early' mock draft.  If I told you the simulator has the Panthers selecting in the top 10 , what would you say?  If I told you it was pick #8 and only two QBs were taken in the top 7, what would you say?  If I told you this dude had us taking a defensive player, what would you say?
    • It is due diligence at that point. Irresponsible not to take him.  Crossing my fingers on this one, he has everything you look for except experience.
