Mildly off-topic, but Chud may be one-and-done

This has more to do with knowing football and not knowing football, the issue has not been Cam Newton or the Offense last season, it was our Defense and our DB's. An example of this was the Falcons game last year that we lost on a last second TD from Matt Ryan, when Cam has scored a TD with what I believe was 53 seconds to go in the game it would have been that game winning drive that was supposedly so highly sought after, then the Defense which to say was bad in the DB is an understatement couldn't stop anyone in crunch time. That happened a lot last year, and don't let this years DB's fool you, they have been exposed in the Saints game in NO and again today.

The biggest difference between this years Panthers and last years is nobody have been able to get past front 7 and they have been able to make up for the DB's short comings.

I agree that the defense is the biggest difference but the offense also let the team down on many occasions the last couple of years. I recall games where there was no short passing at all, trying to throw 50 yard bombs on 3rd and short, and running the read option time and time again when it was obvious it wasn't working. That's why I said it might not be a coincidence. Of course I'm just an old guy who loves watching panthers football so I could be totally wrong.

He is out.

They must have a hand picked candidate already in the wings.  Doubt any search they exhibit is anything but a show.  Wonder if someone like Cowher or a big name has agreed with them.  No team can go through 4 qb's and can their coach because they did not win.  Atlanta still has their QB and only won 4.
