Good coaches coach to their player's strengths but we understand that you have difficult grasping that concet.

In any other news, whether or not Lovie Smith is actually a good coach is highly debatable to begin with.

He announced it today. Mike Sullivan is the name being speculated as his successor.

In other news, Detroit is interviewing Jim Caldwell, but word is they may be waiting patiently for Ken Whisenhunt.

Yep. It's official now.

He's been a fairly successful OC overall.  Certainly come a long way since taking that punch from Buddy Ryan.

Why is no one going after the saints DC? Dude had horrible players and coached them pretty damn well. If anything if I was an owner if be more interested in Ryan then McDermott

Because they credit Payton more so than his OC (Carmichael, isn't it?)

Fair or not, it happens.

    • I'm used to people crapping on the panthers in public spaces. I used to have to defend Cam fugging Newton until I was blue. I come here to talk Panthers and it is literally the same 5 posters you see in this very thread saying the same things, every single day. it's not about having tough skin, it's the constant negativity by the same people. its boring, its annoying, it clogs discussions. this place has really changed and I regret signing back in. I only have like 5 mins a day to spend consuming panthers content and its always the same posters and same crap. we used to have a 6'6 gunslinging battery ram, and he would constantly get dragged through the mud for not being enough, or doing this or that or not diving on a fumble. at the end of the day, it's a people problem. people love to bitch and complain. they'll never be content, they'll never just sit back and root the team on. we had one of the best teams in the NFL on the ropes to move onto the next round of the playoffs while the stadium was alive and well and that wasn't even enough to just enjoy the show.
    • I mean Stroud had a down year, but it was still better than Bryces best year
    • Anybody else see that the panthers have the fewest miles travelled of any team this year? Don’t know it matters too much but it can’t hurt 🤷‍♂️
