Panthers vs niners replay

Recommended Posts

Cool, thanks for sharing, will set up the DVR.  I have all Panther wins this year saved on my DVR, but for some reason the Directv was screwed up during the 49er game and I ended up deleting it.  At least I will now have the abridged version.

Haha watching it to make myself feel better and reassure myself just how overrated kappernickel is

yea GB is missing arguably their best player on defense and their best cover guy goes down fairly early, couple that with a slightly above average D line and you get to watch Kaeps flaws come flying at you.

Watched it last night. Our drops that game were ridiculous. Right in the hands and arms, but still couldn't catch them.

The 'make a football move' catch that wasn't a catch even though he took 3 steps! Blocked punt that turned out for the worst. The non-interception by Captain.

We dominated that game if we shored up some mistakes. A more experienced team at home will show that. I'm more confident after watching the game.

I have watched the game many times in it's entirety on NFL Rewind.  CK is below average overall.  His strides are long and he has a big arm, but he missed sooooooooooo many open receivers in that game- not missed as in inaccurate but missed as in they were WIDE THE F*CK open but he was timid under the amount of pressure we put on him.  Crabtree coming back for the rematch does not solve the fact that CK will still miss those same WIDE THE F*CK OPEN guys again this time.  I keep having a feeling it will be Saints v Panthers again next week but I will undoubtedly be proven wrong.  Playoffs are always so unpredictable

Smith had a huge drop, Lafell had a couple easy ones dropped, and Olsen had a beautiful throw by Cam dropped-all of the throws, had they been stopped for 0 YAC- would have directly resulted in 1st downs.

    • Yeah if Im running 70 in a 65 and your in my backseat Im locking my cruise control there and if you dont get the message Ill drop to the posted speed limit. Im at or in excess of the posted speed and have no obligation to yield the lane.
    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
