A saddening realization

The media and the different personalities can get old quick. Watch the game because you love football. Who cares which team/player/coach wins now that we are eliminated?

I cannot speak for anybody else but I find it hard to watch when I have no rooting interest, I just find it boring.

Kaep isnt the most hated because the media loves him, but finally people are starting to see what he truly is.

The media loves him because: one, he isn't Cam and two, he's the weakest of the three top young black QBs. I keep telling you folks that those in the media love to play god. They love to convince fans that a player is the "greatest" simply because they say so.

Do you folks seriously believe Peyton is "better" then Brady. Or that Luck is "better" than Dalton or Alex Smith? When u look at them without the filter of today's media, u really don't see much difference but put back the filter and it's like night and day with the spins and justifications.

No difference between Luck and Dalton?! Are you high? Hungover from last night? Or was that just a typo? Please tell me that was a mistake. You can't possibly be THAT terrible at spotting talent

Although I don't share the sentiments of this thread regarding watching the final three games, I do get where the person is coming from. Today's NFL isn't like back in the day. Today, the media owns the NFL. Because today's NFL is so money driven, the media now dictates which team they prefer to see in such big events as the Superbowl where ratings and advertisements means millions and maybe even billions to them. And, Which image is best suited to represent the players.

If I was to get a read anything into what is being pushed, it seems as if those in the media could have their way, they would like a 49er/Colts SB.

Since u see me as being the one with the mental issues, then tell me the real solid differences. :)

Wow. I see you were serious. Well then, by Using your retarded logic, why dont you tell me what makes Cam better then Matt Moore? What makes Tom Brady better then Sam Bradford? Make sure you use real "solid" differences.

Can you not spot talent? Or do you just judge it off sportscenter highlights? Cuz if so, im sure Dalton really looks like a champ to you.

And an FYI to u bud, i could make a highlight reel of you throwing a football with a special needs kid down the street, and edit it perfectly so even you look like Peyton Manning out there. You want to know why Dalton is a terrible QB? Go watch 2 and a half quarters of gameplay from this year and stop basing your "analysis" off an 11 second Chris Berman commentated highlight. But I hope you smile and enjoy every single noodle-armed, lame duck, poor decision making pass he attempts

If John Kasey could kick Fox would have won a ring 10 years ago. I don't know why people don't like John Fox all of a sudden. He didn't do anything wrong.

I don't remember Kasay giving up 47 yds in less than a minute to set up the winning FG.

  1. J.Kasay kicks 52 yards from CAR 30 to NE 18, out of bounds.
  2. 1-10-NE 40 (1:08) T.Brady pass incomplete to D.Branch.
  3. 2-10-NE 40 (1:04) (Shotgun) T.Brady pass to T.Brown to CAR 47 for 13 yards (M.Minter; R.Manning).
  4. Timeout #1 by NE at 00:51.
  5. 1-10-CAR 47 (:51) (Shotgun) T.Brady pass to T.Brown to CAR 27 for 20 yards (T.Cousin). PENALTY on NE-T.Brown, Offensive Pass Interference, 10 yards, enforced at CAR 47 - No Play.
  6. 1-20-NE 43 (:44) (Shotgun) T.Brady pass to T.Brown to CAR 44 for 13 yards (T.Cousin; W.Witherspoon).
  7. 2-7-CAR 44 (:20) (Shotgun) T.Brady pass to D.Graham to CAR 40 for 4 yards (M.Minter).
  8. Timeout #2 by NE at 00:14.
  9. 3-3-CAR 40 (:14) (Shotgun) T.Brady pass to D.Branch to CAR 23 for 17 yards (M.Minter).
  10. Timeout #3 by NE at 00:09.
  11. Timeout #2 by CAR at 00:09.
  12. 1-10-CAR 23 (:09) A.Vinatieri 41 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-B.Kinchen, Holder-K.Walter.
