Looking to build a new PC - suggestions welcome

Been a long while since I built one so any suggestions from folks who have kept up with the tech are welcome. Main uses wil be home office type stuff with some basic graphic design, and while I don't need a monster gaming machine building something that can play games would be a plus. Definitely want to go solid state. Budget is around $1000 or so for just the PC itself (don't need a monitor, speakers, etc.). It will likely have to connect to a corporate network, so I don't think Linux is an option.

i would lurk the open box section of newegg and see if you can't get a cyberpowerpc or ibuypower cheap

just get a good psu at the same time.  theirs are made of tin foil and won't last a month.

Why are you doubling down on the GPUs and SSDs but skimping on the CPU?

No real need for an i7.  Thought about it, but the extra $100 just wasn't needed.

This system is primarily for gaming, and will run as a Hackintosh as well.  Hence the extra SSD.

    • The Sanders thing is fake. We could use some safety help no doubt but the FB thing about him asking us to sign him is fake.
    • GREAT LIST!!!!! I'd look to add both Davis and Muma at ILB.  One is a WILL ILB and the other is a SAM ILB. Clear upgrades over Bam and Cherelus Mukuamu would be a great addition at safety.  I'd drop Scott for him and start one of Richardson or Ransom I'd give Fadil Diggs a look over DJJ any day of the week.  DJJ is not long for the roster once Nic is 100% Outside of the guys I mentioned and a CB to be named later I really don't see too much shuffling from what we have on our 53.  I think we need to get creative with our PS.  Luckily we are healthy and can take some time to develop players if we retain a few of our own.  I think Kingston and Tarquin will be back at OL for us.  Sam Roberts, Mike Reid, and Bartholomew for sure on defense.  I'd assume Wright will stick on the PS until our rookie kicker proves himself.  Sam Franklin would be a perfect PS signing.  I'd love to pick up Kyle McCord or Trask as a PS QB.  One player to keep an eye on is Jalen Brooks from the Cowboys.  He's from the area and is talented.  Lots of options.  PS players can play 4 games before having to sign on for the rest of the year!!!
    • Agreed. In a similar way to Aaron Donald being considered too small for IDL when he was drafted, Lampkin is always viewed as too small but just dominates anyway.
