I can't help but have this nagging suspicion that Cam is gay. It seems like he is so high profile, that if he was out plowing random chicks every night, we'd be hearing and seeing a lot more about it.

If he was, though, I'd just like to say it wouldn't bother me the least bit. I think it would be awesome to have a gay superstar leading our team.

See that picture above your posts?  That was last month. Apparently he has been with Hazel for a while now. Cam appears to be a more traditional one-woman guy who keeps his personal biz on the down low.  He seems like a relatively nice guy. At least that is my impression.

I will raise their lovechild as my own and name him Sam. He will dominate all levels of college ball and then be drafted by the panthers 22-23 years from now, and I'll be watching all panthers games from the 50 yard line.

My point is it really wouldn't surprise me if it turned out Cam was gay. We're talking about an attractive young athlete and millionaire with his own clothing line, and who clearly isn't slaying random chicks left and right like we'd expect him too. And it totally could be a case that he's very private, and just is a one woman man who keeps his private life private. Or he could be gay. Neither would surprise me, and neither would be even marginally upsetting to me.

Frankly I'm surprised that my comment elicited such negative feedback. We're all joking about finding him attractive (no homo), or that he could have us men sexually, or he could bang our girlfriends and wives and that would make us better men. But one suggestion that he might be gay and you guys flip.

I'd argue that the people who are small minded are the ones that throw up their hands in protest at the suggestion that a player might be gay.

 

But I've clearly overstepped the bounds of comfortable conversation. And in the interest of not contributing to the bevy of horrible offseason threads, I will rescind my statement. I withdraw every word. There's no chance that Cam is gay. He's a macho man. I shouldn't speculate about his private life, unless I'm assuming it's heterosexual.
