There is a very small Chance the Bobcats get LeBron

I can't link the article from my phone but the gist of it is; Lebron says if he leaves the Heat anytime has a shot (paraphrased).

The Bobcats were mentioned specifically, not by Lebron, but in a connection drawn between the relationship between LeBron and Jordan.

Let's not forget the Cam connection.

The article went on to describe the scenarios where we could easily afford him.

LeBron & Jordan don't even like each other. There's a better chance of Kevin Love & Melo teaming up to come here this summer.

Apparently that has changed a little. At least according to the article.

I think there is a small chance. I would imagine he wants Durant numbers which he could easily obtain in Charlotte.

LeBron couldn't care less about stats, he wants 7 NBA titles to surpass Jordan.

It's an unrealistic dream he'll never sniff, but an admirable goal nonetheless.

Gotta admit...

After seeing 10,000+ Heat fans at TWC this year when Miami was in town it would be funny not seeing a single Heat fan next year when they play.

It would be cool to have him here.. But I highly doubt it. He wants championships and it'll take a year maybe two even with Lebron to get a championship in Charlotte.

Now if he wanted to prove that he didn't need Wade and Bosh to win his rings Charlotte would be the place to go.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
