We lost that game because our defense got emotional and our offense failed to convert at the goal line... twice. Seattle's most significant pieces on offense for Wilson in the playoffs were Baldwin and Kearse (and neither were early round picks).

Yeah, I'm sure you were a Kuechly detractor if that's your logic. If the guy is capable of changing the dynamic for our team no matter how 'unnecessary' he appears, you take regardless.

Wrong. Kuechly is who I wanted. We had lost 2 linebackers and that hurt us badly defensively the prior year. Plus he was the BPA.

Well, there you go. If a safety or corner is BPA, then we take him. Plain and simple. That's the damn point.

If he is HEAD and SHOULDERS above, fine. However nobody here can honestly say our defense is in greater need of talent than our offense. If the WR/OL and Safety grade out evenly, we must go offense. If not, then I agree not to force anything because safety/secondary is a need as well. All that will remain to be seen on draft day. Then we will see how DG has evaluated each player and who he thinks will make the biggest difference and improve our team the most. See I am sensible, but u can't tell me with a serious face that defense is in worst shape than our offense and therefore has the greatest need. Everyone saw the D dominate and the O struggle mightily. If we were to draft Prior I won't be angry, because I trust that DG knows what he is doing, and Prior is a good player.

Lmao cam Again had a cannon ran a 4.56 and was the most physically gifted QB coming out of the draft since vick maybe ever. Moncreif doesn't do anything well(maybe .block?) Route running questionable hands questionable and his speed is questionable what more are you holding on to? Cam was atleast project to be a first round pick. Moncreif runs faster than 4.5 he might land in the second? Fact is this is the best wr class in years and moncreif isn't in the same ball park as bejamin,watkins,evan,lee,cook,beckham. Moving to the second round matthews, landry and adams are also argueably better than him as well.Where in youre mind do you see him moving into the first? He would  amazing  tayvon austin like leap and blistering time to combat the fact he has bad hand and his best season was in 2012. Again stop spreading that ignorance.

Hilarious that you keep bringing up athleticism when that attribute is usually measured at the combine (which has yet to materialize). So, again, your poor assessment of his speed is no more than a biased, uninformed opinion at this endeavor. You can keep downplaying it but with no evidence of your claims, you're just a poster on The Huddle  playing armchair GM/Scout. Post your official 40 yard dash results or STFU. Questionable routes? Now I know you're full of poo. NFL.com and CBS Sports have Moncrief as an adequate route runner who had to pull off his routes to save his QB's poor play. However, I'm sure I trust your analysis over there's. /sarcasm

 

Why would he go in the first? Other than burning Auburn's, LSU's, and Mizzou's secondaries with his 'sluggish' speed, Moncrief has a wide powerful frame and great size at 6'3", 225 lbs and elite body control. So yes, if he runs a 4.4 or a sub 4.5, the latest he'll go is in the second round. You'd have to be an idiot not to see it... but then again I'm talking to the Einstein who doesn't know how to properly spell 'magnificent'.

I could care less about you or or your opinions. Fact is you just don't like that we won't be picking a safety sorry. Not the biggest area of need and to my point was to just show you that we don't draft bpa just to draft bpa. It has to be within reason. We drafted luke who was bpa within reason because of the injuries and uncertain play of beason and thomas davis. Don't tell me we go bpa when we draft fua and mcclain back to back and knowing they wern't the best players on the board. It's within reason of need BPA.

I'm hoping one of the top tackles will slip to us, since I believe no receiver will be BPA at 28.
