That is not what he said or inferred.

By paying hardy stupid money that were already paying CJ he doesn't need to write it in the sand, it's pretty obvious it doesn't leave money to help other areas of need, keeping hardy is a luxury in my opinion especially when our offense is so talentless ad empty

As gettleman has said this is a puzzle and Hardy is a piece of the puzzle.Hell we do not know if Gross is coming back. How much will it cost to replace Hardy or Gross? Do we have someone on the roster that will be ready? This puzzle is far from being put together.

Have some faith, people.

I posted this quote because it sounded very promising about Hardy.. BUT.. I still don't think it's a done deal.  No one knows what kind of offer he might get, so anything can still happen.

But we know Gettleman believes that big men still win.. so the Kraken may get to stick around for awhile...

Hardy is young, he's been developed here with the staff and is primed to wreak havoc all over the field.

He's a brand and will be an icon.

He's a locker room favorite and his demeanor sets the tone for the defense.

He has a motor that won't quit and guys with that package are few and far between. He will be a HoF if he continues his trajectory. No amount of DBs will make up for what he brings and he makes every defensive players job easier so that we don't need top-caliber DBs.

He's gonna be here for the majority of his career and the players love him and his energy. He's the biggest baddest player on our defense and letting him walk would be about the most anti productive move this team could make.

Time to cash in on the Kraken. Everyone else on the team will have him to answer to and I promise they don't want to let this guy down and they better get it quick.

I'm as thrilled as Ron is that the Kraken is gonna be part of the three-headed monster of the identity of this franchise.
