Seahawks Release Sidney Rice

I don't often believe in hunches, but I am thoroughly convinced that Rice is going to be a Panther by the end of the month.

Both have had issues staying healthy. Nicks has 3 TDs in 2 years. Rice has 10 in the same time frame. with the cap space we have Rice should be cheaper.

Rice also wasn't playing w/ a quarterback who had more interest in making opposing DBs look better than his own recievers this yr. & despite him having 0 TDs Nicks still accumulated more receiving yards then any reciever on our team. As for the injuries & who would be cheaper, I already touched on tht in the last post

I'd be all for a 1 yr prove it deal for Rice. Bring in all the talent at WR we can. Low risk, high reward. Feed that fuger some stem cells and hope he overcomes that Mr. Glass alter ego...

He's an upgrade, regardless the ACL injury.

 

If it comes down to him, I'm definitely all for it.

On the local news Saturday night they mentioned the Panthers being interested, that was the first I had heard not being read on the interwebz.
