As a State fan I saw this guy a decent amount. He was at his best and IMO was overshadowed by Amerson 2 years ago. Had a little fall off this year but I think that was more a product of the team turnover. He's 6'2" 200lbs and ran a 4.43.

This draft is DEEP at DB. This guy might be a 3rd-4th round pick bc all of these DBs are killing it. IMO he'd be a great pickup around that area.

If we miss out on fuller in the 1st for whatever reason, this is a guy I dial up later. He could be a really great fs in time and could be the #3cb today. He is not going to match up well with the speedsters at wr or the elite wrs but he should be able to come in and hold his own in certain 3cb packages. I could see round 3 and be ok because of the measurables but at this point it appears he is more a 4th guy.

I went to State and really am a fan but I see him as a 5th rounder max.  I am not a draft guru but I really think there will be other talent in the 3rd and 4th that will decrease his value.  Not saying he should not be on an NFL roster.  Just saying I think the 3rd or the 4th is a bit early for me.

That said watch him go in the 1st now....

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
