being left-handed, no question helps playing on LT. when scouts are interviewing college LT, its one of the first questions they ask. when a 275LBs manbeast is attacking form the leftside, it helps to have your strong side left. leftys are the 10% and the worlds made for rights. everyone has a dominate side, most can lift more with their right than left.

I've never played OL but envisioning it in my head it seems like being right handed is better at LT. Puts your leverage inside and better able to form a pocket.

 

Doesn't work like that.  

 

A right handed batter shouldn't bat left handed so he can hit an inside pitch.  Bell might play more naturally on that side.
