Oh, ok, dumbass.

So... revenue doesn't equal "revenue?"

If you get 1 dollar, are you not 1 dollar richer?

Yeah a whole dollar richer, sweet.

smh

Why the hell else would they charge $34.28/year? Seriously?? Are you reading the text that you're typing?

Quite possibly to limit the number of people to have access to focus better on the "interaction" aspect as mention in the video.

To donate to some charity.

To pay to run the site without adds, pay the studio developers that work on the site.

To limit the people that join to serious fans that are willing to pay, eliminates spamming idiots.

To pay their pool guys yearly salary.

To make idiotic people like yourself argue over how 2 NFL players made a site to make money despite said money paling in comparison to their actual salary.

You can say all the dumb crap about how I'm not reading what I say but it seriously doesn't change how little "revenue" there will be in comparison to their salary. LOL I can't believe you seriously tried to say "You're a dollar richer aren't you?"

Wow, why don't you go out and scout your local McDonalds parking lot so you can be 35 cents richer.

hell I could name a number of reasons why they would charge......... that doesn't involve them "getting rich of the site" lol.

Other than website maintenance, I would LOVE to hear your "number of reasons"

You silly jock-sniffing doubletrouble lover

I've not tried to compare the money they might earn from the site in comparison to their NFL salaries.... only said it was more revenure. Sorry if your simple, little mind can't comprehend that.

But, but, but I thought it was all for charity???

Go to bed, idiot. Your mental aptitude is inadequate.

yeah and i've already compared said revenue to you finding a few bucks on the side of the curb.

Would you start a company solely in efforts to collecting the change off the street and out of couch coushins? Why not, it would BE MORE REVENUE.

Hell why don't you pretend to be a bum one day? IT WOULD BE MORE REVENUE.

Hey heres a great idea, why don't you get another job? IT WOULD BE MORE REVENUE.

Revenue is revenue right? It's basic economics so logic dictates that YOU HAVE to do it right?

Be for real man, I could see if DWill and Jstew were making pedestrian salaries, but they're not. So to say they made the site for revenue and money in their own pockets is a tad absurd because of how little the revenue is, it wouldn't even be worth it. So Until we have some actual proof on what the money is for it's pointless to make any assumptions, especially those that are dumb and senseless.

But, but, but I thought it was all for charity???

Yeah dude, love the name calling. Good to see you're mature enough to defend what little you have to say. I find it admiral that despite the overwhelming logic and truth in what I say you still manage to spout ignorant and malevolence.

Just a fan club that you have to pay to be a member of. I know of more than one parent who put their kids into the Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers fans clubs (for cash) just so they'd be able to get into the presale for their concerts.

Their website is no different.

Brilliant capitalist move.

The site is there to make money plain and simple. For what it is worth even when an individual or company say that the proceeds go to a charity you have to read the fine print. I get bombarded every day by marketing companies collecting money for charities, and various other causes. When I delve into it, I find that out of every dollar I donate often 2/3 of it goes to "administrative fees" or whatever.

Not saying that this is what is happening here, frankly I am not going to pay 34.28 to find out. But many times only a small portion goes to charity. Other times the whole amount goes to charity and the athlete picks up the cost of the shirt for example. You have to read carefully.

But as Dimbee says, these guys know that fame is fleeting and they are going to make as much money as possible. I also notice that many times guys will attach their name to a cause and raise other folk's money but put none of their own in the pot.

Just sayin..........

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
