Richardson is following the Hugh Culverhouse mantra of NFL ownership almost right down to the exact detail. Scary.

Culverhouse never had a salary cap and he was extremely cheap. Jerry Richardson's team is in danger of spending more than the salary cap if they sign a big free agent. Completely different era.

last offseason all of us were bitching about needing WRs, DTs, and DBs. we didn't do diddly but sign a bunch of scrubs like mike mitchell, ted ginn, dom hixon, etc. then we kicked the draft's ass. we went 12-4.

this offseason all of us are bitching about needing WRs, OTs, and DBs. who knows what will happen? but i'm not gonna panic 48 hours after free agency started. it's completely pointless.

Last off-season were talking about maybe 1 player for each spot.

This season we need 3-4 Wr's 2 OT and pretty much the whole secondary.

I'm sorry this is way worst then last season. I can't express how much we need right now.

We also didn't screw over half the team last year and disrespect players that have been with us since they joined the league.

we're screwing over half the team? who? the smitty situation was handled poorly, yeah, but he wasn't a necessity last season, was he? 750 yards. tons of drops. due to make $10m for that kind of production. are you kidding me?

who else did we disrespect? jordan gross because we wanted him to take a paycut to come back? why in god's name would we ever ask a team captain and a reliable (not GREAT) player to take one for the team when he's already gotten his massive contracts to feed his family for the next two generations? gee.... if only we knew... oh right, because that's the sensible thing to do if you want to continue playing. if he doesn't want to play anymore, fug it. let him retire healthy.

look, steve smith, mike mitchell, ted ginn, dom hixon, captain munnerlyn, brandon lafell... were these even top 5 most important players on the team? how about 10? between cam, tolbert, olsen, kalil, keek, TD, cj, kraken, gano, etc.

quit your bitching, seriously. all the dudes we're losing were on one year deals for a reason. they arent that good

relax

Come on, man. You are usually a good poster on here. I know having your favorite player leave unceremoniously sucks, but at the end of the day, what's done is done and there's no point in being bitter about it.

"Steve Smith's situation is being evaluated." That's all he said. It wasn't that disrespectful. All this other nonsense coming out is from Steve's agent or media speculation.

He talked about the guy in the past tense. That is considered a slight when the person is still around and un aware of this sentiment.

last offseason we had the following DBs signed

josh thomas, josh norman, james dockery

charles godfrey, colin jones

haruki nakamaura

we wound up snagging florence, melvin white, captain munnerlyn re-signed

then mike mitchell, robert lester.... quintin mikell during the season...

well would you look at that... gettleman was responsible for our starting secondary last season!!!! he even is responsible for all of our DTs last season (signed cole, re-signed dwan, drafted kk and star).

why do you think he can't do the same for other positions? honestly? why would we doubt him? after scouting and doing personnel for the 90s bills, late 90s broncos, the 2000s-2010s giants? even after taking over a mediocre 7-9 team and building the bottom of the roster and turning them into a 12-4 squad? explain.

Did you intentionally ignore all of the grammar lessons so you could keep using that weak assed point. Anyways, well done, I usually don't engage trolls.

Inaccurate title.  Still many too many either kneeling in front of Richardson and slobbing his knob or with their head up his ass so far to realize how he really doesn't give a poo about the fans or winning, and only cares about himself and his bank account.

Maybe he can find a new gm to give long term multi million dollar contracts to running backs to let us all know he isnt worried about his bank account.

And now we have hit rock bottom.....the self-envisioned intellectuals will now begin referencing  the non-relevant and the obscure in an attempt to make themselves appear both enlightened and superior.

It gets really ugly around here this time of night.

Silliness, shortsightedness, panic and in some cases sheer stupidity, however, are running quite thick

Reality has to set in sooner or later Scott.

The plan is getting harder and harder to Map out is all I'm saying.

That's not really a agreeigous act.
