Teams will release receivers after the draft and we will pickup a vet easily not sure who depends who drafts who and what obviously but I'm not worried only Nicks was a possible number #1 and he didn't fancy the challenge of leading a receiver corps of rookies and unknowns.

If you paid attention to our GM you would know not to hope for more for a few seasons because that is our only option as of right now. In a few years, when our cap is finally fixed, then we can be real players in free agency. Besides like he said, you build through the draft. Which is very true. Some of you need to learn football

Oh I know exactly what our GMs doing. Only thing is you can't just cut your #1 reciever(money not even being an issue) and replace him with a bunch of scrubs. I don't think Cam's gonna be very happy with that. And yes, we could have afforded Hakeem this year; Dave just wanted to play Dr. Phil and tell him where he might be a better fit

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
