Rivera says Steve Smith wasn't a distraction

there is nothing in the official "how to be a sports fan" rule book that backs your requirements.

didnt know there was an official rule book. but i certainly dont see getting depressed and hopeless as fan-material. i would get it we were talking about the Browns or Jags. those fanbases have a right to be depressed and hopeless. but Carolina is in pretty good shape to still be a major competitor next season. no reason to freak out right now. none at all. yet what did the Huddle do two days into FA? freak out. it just seems like a waste of energy to me. i guess this is all my opinion anyway but i'd much rather spend my time speculating about the next moves the franchise will make and what will help us, than spend it butthurt because the Panthers havent done what i think they should have.

real life present enough drama and negativity for me. i dont like coming to the Huddle and seeing it.

Hey heel31ok --- do you really have to criticize every posts that supports the release of SS? You are a ridiculous troll

do you want to discuss the points of a post ? All are valid points. if you don't  then you are the troll. So which point do you have a problem with?

I'm a fan simply because my father was/is. He passed down his love of the panthers to me and it's not something you can just get rid of. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to agree with or even support the decisions that are made. I'm a fan of the panthers, I don't work for them. In reality they actually work for me and every other fan that puts money into their pockets. Being a fan gives you the right to be upset and have negative views, something the players can't really afford to have. The concerns I have are legitimate, and as long as I spend money on them I will continue to have them. I don't post here as much as I do in the season, stick around it'll get better.

we're in the same boat. im a fan because of my Dad too. i suppose you have the right to be upset about things. cant say i havent been upset before about stuff the Panthers have done. but i dont let it bother me for more than a few days. its just not worth it. its not like its going to change the way they run the organization.

We lose the best player in franchise history, and have yet to replace him. There is nobody in FA or the draft at 28 that can replace him. So it's safe to say he won't be replaced this year.

Our Pro Bowl LT retires and the team think's Byron Bell(a player most thought shouldn't even be on the roster)is a replacement.

We wipe out our entire WR core and haven't gotten any younger at the position (unless you count king and mcnutt)or better.

We fail to sign a hometown kid that was arguably the best replacement for Steve Smith.

As of right now and most likely going forward we will be banking on a young unproven oline and mediocre wrs. Who will be catching passes from fuging Joe Webb until training camp.

And to top it all of, my fuging PSL season tickets have gone up.

But hey we signed Jerricho Cotchery!!! woooohoooooo!!! And the HAIR, omg we signed the hair. The HAIR is in Charlotte ladies and Gents!!. I'm thrilled, I really am.

And you're too god damn stupid to realize she was being sarcastic and is almost as big a Steve Smith cry baby as you.

You are just sitting around waiting to spew more nonsense on the Smitty issue and that's all you talk about.

Please be done and go ahead and sell your PSLs while you're at it since Smitty clearly was the only reason you bought them. Although it's pretty hard to imagine a PSL owner who is a player only type of fan but yea...

Smitty isn't coming back and crying about it won't do any good and the act is old now for sure.

There are plenty of WRs in this draft that can replace Smitty on the field and in the locker room. What you whiners have is in your heart and the org certainly doesn't care about that. Smiths production is very much replaceable, even from a rookie.

As a matter of fact, a certain 3rd round rookie you always whine about us not drafting last year out did him. This years crop is even better.

The Ravens have a long history with bringing in washed out, the hill or past their prime WR's. Hell, I'm about waiting for them to bring TO in.

Lee Evans, Derrick Mason, Qad Ismail, Justin Armour, Donte Stallworth, Ben Coates, and the list goes on.

Steve Smith getting picked up quick was no brainer. The Ravens, though, WR dumpster dive all the time.

lmao wtf are u even doing here? I'm so confused
