  1. Past hour
  2. rip to the dream of Sonny Styles falling to 19th, that dream is OVER!
  3. Nah, he’s going to go top 10. I was worried Bucs were going to get him when they missed the playoffs but I can sleep better at night watching him kill the combine knowing he’s also out of there reach.
  4. He will not make it past TB if he doesn't go top 10.
  5. Yesterday
  6. I think the first 3 picks will be defensive players this time. At least that's how the draft is falling this year. I would not be shocked at all if our 1st pick is the number one safety in the draft. It appears he will be right there for the taking.
  7. Man oh man. That 8-9 record without a playoff berth puts at 13 if I recall, ahead of both Atlanta and TB with their 8-9 records, due to our weaker SOS. We might have been in range to deal for that guy. I hope he doesn’t last to 8. And I hope some AFC team picks him.
  8. Cool. I am not wanting to debate or argue it. It is mostly my preferences. But a couple of things: I just don’t think he sees the middle of the field well. But besides that I would rather spend a 1st round pick at different offensive positions if we went offense, otherwise we have neglected defense something fierce the last few years. Last 1st rounder was Horn. That’s like 5 years ago now. Investments… gee the last 4 drafts we have used a 2, a 2, a low 1st and a top ten pick on WR. Bryce has been here three years, three of those picks were specifically for him. And assets, I don’t think you are counting the haul we gave for the QB position. That counts and it was huge. Add that up and add the Burns cap space we freed up when we traded him. We bought two guards and used the savings on them. Not on the defense. I mean, that is a lot of investment in the offense when you put all that in a sack and weigh it. peace. Appreciate your post.
  9. I don't consider him anything more than a day 2 pick. The Rams can easily get him in the 2nd round.
  10. Well you are officially renting him in those circumstances. So I don’t care who he is, I wouldn’t want to give up a 3rd. I for sure was thinking much cheaper. Got to pay him 15 mil. And then he can be a FA. I guess you could tag him. That would be costly. The idea of a one year rental doesn’t bother me though, it could buy time and still allow us to draft an edge this year, then in ‘27 we’d have Scourton and Princely going into their third season and the newer draftee his second. They might be ready to step up. I just would want him cheap.
  11. I like Jay huff 3 3 pointers tonight. He always has big games against the hornets
  12. No I wager on wrexham but that's the only b level I'll do.
  13. 12.5 point favs tonight vs Pacers. Is Indiana letting Caitlin Clark start?
  14. That's insane. That's getting into fuging Vince Carter territory.
  15. I don't believe Bryce "can't see the middle of the field". If that's true, then Canales, Morgan and Tepper are even bigger dipshits than I already think they are. We don't use the TE enough because every one of them on our roster would be the 3rd string TE on any other roster. They all suck beyond belief. What investments? T-Mac was a great pick (who I was wrong on), but other than that, we've not really done anything other than getting lucky that Rico Dowdle turned into Barry Sanders for 4 or 5 games running and catching the ball out of the backfield. There is nothing that says you can't line up Sadiq in the backfield and use him as an outlet for Bryce. Look how the Colts used Warren a lot this year. One player on defense isn't going to make a difference on the score board, especially with Evero coaching. This team is going to need to maintain possessions and score points to stay in games with a first-place tilt (Seahawks, Eagles, and Bears), plus the Ravens, Bengals, Lions, and Packers on the 2026 schedule. Your post was solid though, good points by you and could be totally right, and I could be wrong. But that's my $0.02 which is about what it's worth.
  16. I think Kiper has talked about Simpson to the Steelers (around 21). However, I think everyone is saying this based on the dearth of QB talent and that Simpson, who is throwing, knocks off some socks. I could see him going to a Pittsburgh or LAR in the first round--- I could see teams grabbing him a round before he should go--we are talking about QBs. Is he better than Kenny Pickett? I think he went around 20.
  17. In a perfect world he’d play out his contract and if he looks great you can tag or extend him. But I wouldn’t offer more than a third. And I wouldn’t extend up front
  18. I am not endorsing or rejecting.. just commenting. NYG GM Schoen and Morgan are like, vacation buds. Did the Burns trade already. If we had interest it should be do-able. One year rental? Could be cheap. But it would need to be. Maybe a player could go back to them. More than that? Like trade for and extend him? I don’t know enough about him to really say about that. What LG just said sheds some light. In a general sense, we have done well with our late rounders but the reason for that may apply less going forward. Tillis referenced this as well in his combine interview the other day. When you have holes everywhere it is easy to fill them with a draft pick, but once you have gotten things to a certain level that changes. At that point maybe a late round pick doesn’t upgrade your team like it did n previous seasons. Hence the low picks become less impactful for us, there is less utility. Which could play into them being more willing to use them in a trade.
  19. After the combine, he will be mocking around 10
