Panthers promote coach to pass game coordinator
electro's horse replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Theres a saying in marketing that every group needs a pervert who would think of things no one else would. Like the guy at Pizza Hut who was against the name Pzone because it sounded like a sex move and would creep everyone out with things he could think of. anyway evangelicals are really bad at this and if you talk to one there will be tons of “pause” moments they don’t catch. They’re basically all Tobias funke. anyway one of the beat writers asked earlier this season about Idzik taking over playcalling duties and Canales response was like “I care too much about him to use him in such a hard position” which was like I’m sorry? anyway they’re fuging -
Well, I did admit "Homer" was a better word. "Propaganda," on its face is not hyperbolic in this sense, nor is it necessarily a negative word. Only due to fairly recent events is there a fully negative connotation (which I also alluded to), so I don't know what to tell you. @LinvilleGorge or any mod feel free to change the term. Thanks.

I actually think Evero might be a more serious candidate than we realize for some of these jobs. I would not be shocked to see him end up getting hired.

Moisturizes his hands -
We both know this doesn't count Stumpy
-
Darnold is also questionable with an oblique injury so this makes this even more plausible. I hate SF so I'll be disappointed.

Helps with game planning during the week along with Canales and the run and pass game coordinators. - Today

First Interviews have just started in most of the openings he's going for.
-
No news is bad news, I feel like he'd be hired by now if he was gonna be
-
Sounds like he's already out for the season. Shouldnt affect our cap at all. Apparently, SJ needed to get under the 50 contract limit. But, he is a RHD, though... lol

Major Concerns with this team…with numbers
PantherChris replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
And yet we are second in the east, keep in mind this team isn't about the regular season anymore we are making the playoffs and THIS 100% ISNT THE FINAL roster for the post season, the Canes have the space and assets to make HUGE moves around the deadline just buckle in relax and try to rember that it isnt about regular season ws. -
Sounds like Chucklefug and The Rat are gonna miss tonight's game. On a somewhat related note, do injured guys from both teams sit in the same press box? Asking for a friend...
-
Buffalo, Seattle, New England, Rams Buffalo, Rams Buffalo.
-
Yea he has an 850k NHL roster cap hit, although he wont be on the roster.... They paid us to just clear a spot it would seem @Stumpy
-
So we moved up one round to take a small cap dump and a prospect with no games played? Not sure how this makes any sense for the sharks, this guy is deff going to the AHL and won't actually affect our cap.
-
Here ya go...

I mean with Caleb there would be no reason to have Darnold. That was one hell of a trauma inducing trade.
-
I said there are three groups. How is that looping everyone together?
-
Imagine a team that had some of the players on these remaining squads on one all together. Caleb, Darnold, CMC, DJ Moore, Darnell Wright, Tyrique Stevenson, Fiske… could you just imagine if a franchise had all those assets?

Like I said, I think the 4th was a good call and good play. Should have been a completion. Betweeen the Saints with game bad call on TMac and the Buccs game with bad calls swinging 6 points their way, I am not surprised they didn't get that holding call. The Panthers have just been on the wrong side of calls for most of the season for whatever reason.
-
Correct. Boy wouldn't that be a "bad feelings" game. Interestingly enough, Ben Johnson probably has very little fire about that given that it all happened before his time there. Verus the fire he has for his divisional rivals.
-
So, basically your entire argument is Sam Darnold??? So one data point is now a "storied history?" Speaking of hyperbole.... 95+% of these "oh you'll see when he leaves he's gonna be eliteimtellingyouhewillbetheguy" episodes end up with crickets shortly thereafter because those players rarely excel elsewhere for players that the majority of the fanbase wanted gone. That is very rare.
-
If the defense held, the Panthers would be in Chicago tomorrow, correct?
