  1. Past hour
  2. I don't know much about the first round guy, but I'd love Hill, Green should be a nice developmental project QB, throw in a fast safety and massive OT that can eventually replace Moton and I'd be pretty happy with that.
  3. For me the time to take the chance was where the Packers got him (yet it doesn’t seem like they took advantage). Or where the Titans did (3rd round). Anyway Green Bay gave Tennessee a 7th rounder for him. Everyone is on him now. The ticket price has gone way up to where he is like betting on the prohibitive favorite. He would have to ‘win’ or you are screwed.
  4. While I agree Bain got a lot of the double teams this year, Mesidor actually faced a ton of double teams in 2024 (along with Bain when healthy) and still had pretty good stats. The much better DT play Miami had in 2025 helped limit the number of double teams Mesidor faced. I actually think Mesidor has one of the best combos of speed + technique among edge rushers in the class (probably behind Bain & Bailey). Run defense might be a problem for him and he is not good in coverage (aka he needs to be strictly rushing the passer/playing the run every down he is on the field). Jarred Verse was old also (24 at the start of his rookie year), so I hope we aren't using age as a big knock on his draft rank. We could still get 5 years out of him before he hits his 2nd contract and then move on if he gets pricy his age 29/30 season. Medicals definitely need to be looked at closely for him, though he has stayed healthy the last 2 seasons.
  5. We really should look into him heavily and see if he's worth taking a chance on. But it's the Panthers. They're dumb, so they won't. Stuck with the midget for another season.
  6. In other news, Nick Mullens is the most accurate QB in the NFL... he has 100% completion percentage!!!!! (don't pay attention to the fact that he only attempted 3 passes)
  7. Like Mesidor, Hill, and Wheatley, but would like to see a trade down at 19 (to like 25ish) if we take Mesidor and am not sure Hill is there at 51
  8. Maybe PFF calls it Big Time throws for Bryce because since he is such a little guy, any throw pass the line of scrimmage counts as a Big Time throw... And it would have been nice if PFF included Big Time Throw attempts/game on that graphic also. Because we all know Bryce attempted like maybe 2 deep passes per game
  9. Today
  10. Well yes, because then their stats and metrics would start to reflect what we saw every Sunday in Autumn for the last 3 years.
  11. Teams doubled (and sometimes tripled with a chip) Bain on almost every down, which left Mesidor singled up all the time. He's a really good player and if he's there in the 2nd round you take the shot. He's just not a first rounder at 25 years old with his injury history. Stats are fun, but if you watch the games you'll see who teams were game planning against. When they left Bain isolated he wrecked games.
  12. He basically only throws it deep when the WR is high school wide open.
  13. Don't like taking a 1st rounder that's that old. Basically get one contract out of him after the 5th year option and that's about it. Like Anthony Hill, but doubt he's there. Taylen Green is becoming the QB I want. Ephesians Prysock sounds like a Key and Peele name, so, sure.
  14. I don't think we would trade up that much the way DM seems to covet draft picks. Although if the right player is there, I can quickly get on board with the "fug them picks" strategy. I'd rather have one elite prospect over one very good, one good, and one okay. But if the trade package involves a future first? Nope. Biggest thing for us, and other teams I think...will be wanting to protect 2027 picks because they're likely going to be like gold due to the QB class.
  15. Why, you have to ask, would PFF skew the stats in such a way to get Bryce at the top of a list. Honestly, they didn't. That's just how the stats shook out. Probably because Bryce took fewer deep pass opportunities than most other starting QBs, but on the rare opportunities he took, he did quite well. And that fits in with what an unbiased eye might see out of Bryce and Canales right now... Developing starter QB, developing offensive identity. Which is probably what we have. You and I don't know the calls on each play. We can't see what Bryce sees (or can't see) from the pocket. But a group that watches and grades every play for basically every player looked down at their stat calculations and went: "Would you look at that? Who would have thunk it?" Just because it doesn't fit into our own narrative doesn't make it false.
  16. Collinsworth's PFF is as useful as his commentary. I mute both.
  17. There's a hell of a lot of irony in folks who have spent years simping for their guy Bryce whailing about people being homers over Howell because of UNC.
  18. it would certainly be more realistic and closer to the truth
  19. I have to say, the two against the Rams in… December? Those were big time throws. But they count a little out in the 2nd quarter as a big time throw. Equally. When I saw the graphic about this I thought I was looking at the sports section of the Babylon Bee, I got a good laugh out of it. So thanks for that. I go back to it again, they call a 20 yard pass a deep ball. In the gamecast world, you will read about TD passes from 16 yards being deep. It’ll say Marino to Duper complete deep 16 yards TD. How can one live in such an insane world?
  20. Lmao dude was scared to throw deep all year unless the guy was wide open. I can’t stand the pats and think drake maye is insanely overrated based on playing terrible defenses all year but that first TD he threw in the SB is a pass Bryce just could and would never make. Stafford, Darnold, Mahomes, even Maye. Those guys are legit deep throwers. Bryce ain’t.
  21. I think probably because it'd be more believable than this. Most of us have watched every single Bryce snap of his pro career. Bryce is one of the last QBs I'd be confident in when it comes to having to make a big clutch throw and push the ball down field. Nothing against him.
  22. I didn’t unlock anything like that but there was a threshold of what you asked for, if they came to you with it. You could always get overpaid. Hold out one more time. I had some drafts.
