  1. Past hour
  2. We probably won’t get any comps regardless as we have a lot of needs and a good bit of cap space.
  3. I'd prefer Chuba if we can move him and have another team take on his weight. On the flipside, we're not going to the SB, Rico is on a 1 year deal so we're obviously listening to offers. Question is - Do you get something for him? Or do you add him back at 28 y/o next year with a fresh contract to a room with Chuba's contract that is still paying Miles Sanders $3 mil in dead cap? I mean, we keep making the mistake. So maybe we don't pay for the RB and get something for him instead?
  4. yeah this is completely possible. I don't understand this front office and the lack of logic in decision making. Rico is an uncut dawg, chubba has been snipped with that big contract of his.
  5. If I was told we could sign Rico on a cheap 1 year deal, use him up while Chuba was hurt and grab some wins with him and then flip him for a pick I’d be thrilled. We don’t need to be shortsighted like we have in the past.
  6. Based on that.. we we are offered a 5th we should take it and consider ourselves blessed... But I would rather win games then get a low round draft pick.. lets ground and pound babeee!!
  7. I’m telling you, get a higher end Veteran in Free Agency. Theres always a Darnold or Winston or somebody floating around each year. Keep Bryce without the option, and draft a guy on Day 2. Best man wins, if it fails new group can draft their guy.
  8. 100%. expensive and JAG you can replace that production easily.
  9. Here’s a quick look at recent NFL compensatory picks that were tied (at least in part) to teams losing a running back in free agency: 2019 NFL Draft (for 2018 FA): • Patriots — Round 6 (for Dion Lewis leaving for the Titans). Over the Cap 2022 NFL Draft (for 2021 FA): • Packers — Round 7 (for Jamaal Williams leaving for the Lions). SI+1 2023 NFL Draft (for 2022 FA): • Cardinals — Round 6 (for Chase Edmonds leaving for the Dolphins). Over the Cap+2Arizona Cardinals+2 2024 NFL Draft (for 2023 FA): • No RB departures ended up producing a listed comp pick in the NFL’s 2024 release/evaluations. Over the Cap+1 2025 NFL Draft (for 2024 FA): • Cowboys — projected/awarded comp picks in the 2025 cycle included one attributable in part to Tony Pollard’s departure (commonly projected as a Round 6 value).
  10. Just make Mitchell Evans QB with Hubbard, Dowdle, and Etienne in the backfield and run Triple Option every play
  11. It’s not tanking. The Pats are over here getting return on players and they have one of the best records. To me it’s good roster management with some exceptions. We can wait until after the GB game though. Rico’s value will never be higher than it is now. We can roll with Chuba and ETN IMO.
  12. Chuba makes more sense if only looking at player vs player. Chuba is not getting traded given his contract.
  13. Agreed. If anything I say trade Chuba, run Rico rest of the season. No one said you had to resign him. We can get another back.
  14. From being signed on Thursday to maybe starter on Sunday? I don't think so. Go look at his body of work and you will see he isn't a Vinny T kind of Vet. Bryce is going to start with Dalton hurt (and terrible to boot) and White coming in from the dark (and also terrible too).
  15. Look I realize we're not a legit playoff contender. But this a 4-4 team and Bryce's make or break year. If we're stripping the team for parts, then go ahead and fire Canales and cut Bryce because that's basically what's being chosen.
  16. We aren’t a playoff team and he walks for nothing after this year. Any player that’s in his last year and we don’t plan on extending should be worth looking at for picks.
  17. Because it makes sense for the Panthers to move a RB this week. Outsiders just aren't as intimately familiar with the Panthers as we are so they would assume we'd do the logical thing and trade the lesser RB with the worse contract. But this is Tepper's Panthers. We know that doing the logical thing is rarely on the table.
  18. Yeah I understand that. Just pointing out how far salaries have come in 11 years. If only the rest of American salaries worked that way.
  19. I would be highly skeptical Rico is worth more to another team than us right now. Chuba makes more sense for us to trade.
