  2. Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
  3. Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
  4. Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development. He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB. The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.

  6. I really don't think their hands are tied. It's not that. As fans we want to quickly move on from real or perceived poor QB play. Strategic timing is what matters and I think that's what Morgan is doing.
  7. You want to use #19 to find out if we don’t target them because they suck or because we don’t embrace an expanded pass catching role due to philosophy? I don’t.
  8. One thing the people they bring in that stands out, almost all younger players. 25, 26 year old FAs.
  9. It is crazy that they do that everywhere else, and have that huge blind spot at the most important position. Them meeting with guys like that tells me that they know. Maybe their hands are tied.
  10. Yeah let’s put some cool rims on that Vega. It will be right there with the Camaro and Vette.
  11. the way you fix this is with a monster TE, yall complain about the QB play when no one on this offense scares anyone. no defense is afraid of the their matchup against Tommy Tremble

  13. I ordered my Goldberg jersey 31 years ago. Still waiting .I know the mail is slow but this is bad.
  14. The list of prospects by rd that was posted earlier that I saw looked like all the first round guys we've met so far were defensive, DT/LB/and Edge. Obviously there will be more and probably missed somebody but just stood out to me
  15. I kind of think of him as this years Mykel Williams. Similar conversations being had.
  16. By design of the offense or because our TEs suck? That's the question. Targeting our current TEs at a high rate would just be dumb.
  17. Cool. We can draft another TE to be primarily used for blocking. Not all offenses use TE significantly as receivers. Sanders and Evans both had better catch percentages than the leading TEs in receiving yards. We dont target tght ends.
  18. Our TEs were ranked 47th, 52nd, and 57th in the league in receiving yards for TEs last season.
  19. We were dead center, 16th, in Red Zone TD percentage. Not terrible
  20. I dont feel its much of a need at all. We've drafted in consecutive years. TE are known to take 3-4 years to develop.
  21. I'm liking the guys in our zip code after the All-Star games and Combine. Initially I was in favor of a trade back, but several dudes have climbed the board.
  22. When are you guys going to learn the the Panthers draft board is nothing like any draft board you are using. They are drafting the best player left on their board. Every team does the same thing. Thats why the so called draft gurus like DJ and Mel never get anything right.
  23. Yesterday
  24. I mean, the most important position on the roster is our biggest limitation currently.
  25. I'm right there with you. I'm also afraid of the Panthers not taking either even if the Vikings were to pass on both.
  26. Apparently he’s a very good culture guy according to scouts and turns 21 in September. I’m assuming the gamble is he has a high ceiling.
