  1. Past hour
  2. Im being serious. We just lost our TE for the year and you guys are in a division where you can take advantage of how bad Atlanta and New Orleans records are. Were in a tough division and we have a brutal schedule. I predict we only win 8 games. Panthers win 10.
  3. Someone in previous thread said the media dam is breaking on Young. And I think they're right. At some point we will need to have him do more.
  4. How much Rico is helping the team and taking pressure off Bryce. In the same 3 weeks Dowdle started at RB for the panthers Eric Dickerson rushed for a total of 354 yards in 1984, while Rico Dowdle rushed for 402 yards in 2025.
  5. Today
  6. Totally agree. I only mention the age since it’s typically older CBs that make the switch to S.
  7. This. This times a million. Your comment just hit me of the turnaround needed.
  8. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
  9. Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October. Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record. Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts) Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0 Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
  10. 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons. 3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity. 5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
  11. You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
  12. I gained a lot of confidence in our OL coaching.
  13. I gained a lot of confidence in Curhan this week. Also, Nijman has been doing much better this year. With that said, I’m still glad these guys are back. But we don’t have to pull the alarm if one of those guys have to step in later on
  14. Only 26 but coming off a big injury issue makes a difference. I remember how good he was, but the question will be how good he still can be.
  15. I could live with it, but if we continue winning (which is a good thing) then it becomes highly unlikely.
  16. I’m fine with it considering we never found one of those Rivers/Manning/Brady/Brees types from that era. Our best QB only threw for 4,000 once. And our Passing TD record is from a traveling vet that played here 27 years ago. Rugby style football is our DNA
  17. You left out a guy that I would watch. Davis Mills while CJ Stroud is out. He struggled a little against the Broncos defense (who wouldn’t) and had not been practicing with the 1s. He has been considered by some to be one of the best back ups in the league. I would also watch out for Mac Jones. He’s doing really well with a very injury ridden team. He seems to be going down the Darnold path.
  18. I agree with you. Bryce hasn't backed us into a corner. His play is so so. Now Tepper or whomever may insist we give him a fifth year option which could force us into a corner if his play improved a lot
  19. Bryce Young makes Alex Smith look like Prime Aaron Rodgers. But your point remains.
  20. I don't think it has. I just think the position has become more and more vital to success. The days of dragging the Trent Dilfers and Brad Johnsons of the world to Super Bowls are over. People will point to Nick Foles but that guy played out of his mind in that Super Bowl run. He didn't play like a Trent Dilfer, he caught lightning in a bottle and played like a Hall of Famer for a very brief but very key period.
