  1. Past hour
  2. We do need a speed guy WR3 if Coker will be the #2. If only we could clone prime Ted Ginn jr.
  3. 1,2,3 will figure itself out. What they need is a complementary type of receiver. Coker is definitely in that mix
  4. My favorite player ever. Seeing him back home makes my heart smile.
  5. No clue how anyone who watched that game can come away thinking WR is our biggest priority. Defense. Defense. Defense. It's year 4 for Bryce. Make it work.
  6. Coker is a legit #2. He might actually be better than Tmac. what we need is a legit YAC slot player and a pass catching TE. But some of that will get into the O scheme and QB. But we got 2 legit WRs in Carolina to play on the outside.
  7. This offseason will be key for the franchise. A few good moves will put us in a good spot for the next 5 years. We really need to nail it.
  8. Coker balled out yesterday. Should he be the WR2 next season or should we bring in a legit #2?
  9. Things like this used to matter. Now all some people value are silver linings and cope. Sad.
  10. Bridge tier QB. If you put Atlanta to the side, great games flat out have never existed in his 3 year career. And his good isn’t on par with good games of other NFL QBs. There comes a ceiling with Bryce that isn’t undeniable and that just isn’t what any team in the NFL longs for. He can be the QB next year, you just can’t pay him because we have to be looking for the actual future at the QB spot. he played a very good game for Bryce yesterday…..and every QB that played yesteray (and no one was great) generated more offense for their teams. And we got legit weapons. I don’t care where Coker was drafted. No one feels sorry for Stafford because Puca was a late pick.
  11. I'm always the "give them a chance guy" but XL is about done. Coker needs to be the permanent #2 and we should still add another pass catcher this off-season.
  12. I agree. I think LB and Edge are the top priorities, with WR and S behind. I also think we might add a DT. I can't decide on Smith-Wade as the nickel, but a FS that can play some big nickel would be nice. In the grand scheme of things, our needs list has not been this short in a while. Some will insist that you add QB to this list, but realistically, that ain't happening so I will not mention it, but I think this is going to be a great draft to find talent at QB later--players once regarded as first rounders have fallen, for whatever reason. Beck, Allar, Mateer, Nussmeier, Klubnik, and my sleepers, Sawyer Robertson and Luke Altmyer (Altmyer especially). Get some young depth and insurance. The red rocket is a coach and Bryce's BFF. He can do that as the #3.
  13. Yeah and when they knew we had to pass with the game on the line how did he look?
  14. If he had more fire he would be pretty comparable to Jake. Not the best QB around but you can win some games with him if you can run and play a little D. I know you guys like to slob all over Jake but the reality is he was never a great QB either, replacement level guy.
  15. Needless to say we aren't going to back our way into 5 wins again. On top of that. The division around us is undoubtedly improving. We definitely will not be able to sustain another year of the offense and specifically Bryce Young playing ugly football early in the season.
  16. The ball was practically at his knees. If you consider that "in stride" and the best you can expect from our #1 pick then more power to you big guy.
  17. NFL changes fast. Top teams from the year before may be weak a year later. We will see.
  18. Get a FS that is actually a FS. Get LBs that are NFL starter material. Pass rush. Knowing us we probably go draft more WRs and RBs.
  19. Need to address edge in FA. Not sure the talent will be there to justify pick 19. S, LB, or OL
  20. I think Canales needed to take the timeouts simply because of Dave and Bryce…. it does not appear they have the playcalls and ability to handle a scenario which such little time on the clock and basically panic. That was the second time this season we have seen them get the ball with little time and needing points…..and they failed to move the ball an inch both times. Call it inexperience. But they don’t seem to grasp getting yards and moving the ball in a real tight time crunch and look for too big of chunks. Both times they had timeouts and just let the clock burn looking looking to get it all in one play. still think this game showed we need a new DC and OC. Canales needs to focus on just being a HC. Maybe if he was focused on that he would have more time to help guide his playcallers to moments where they could use it. While Evero was busy not calling a D, the OC in theory needed to be in his play sheet figuring out what he wanted to do. Just too much on Dave
  21. That's what happens when you win the division. We get the best of the best and winning won't be easy. I think a regression is possible. We still ended up below .500 this season in the weakest division in football. Still plenty of holes in this team that need to be addressed. Every team is going to improve and some are closer to getting things solved then we are. They had a decent season compared to 2025. Are they ready to take the next step and break the top ten? They are still middle of the pack. Dan and company will have some work to do to fight their way through this schedule.
  22. Can I offer a trade? and this is just a dream btw Bengals recieve: 19th 2027 First Rd Pick Xavier Legette Bryce Young Panthers recieve: Joe Burrow rumor has it Burrow is not happy in Cincinnati
  23. We need to make replacing him a top priority. FS, LB, Edge, OL depth, and another reliable pass catcher this off-season season.
  24. We simply need a pass rush and some LBs who can stuff the run and drop into the middle as needed in coverage. A lot of what we do is based on our personnel--having nearly $70m in dead cap (2024) takes time to restock. I mean, our defense was worst in NFL history last year. This year, we were in most games. I am not making excuses for him, but I am saying it could be too soon to tell here. I think we need a DLman or two as well. We tend to be extremists on this board. Natural reaction to losing for 7 seasons (or was it 8?). Personally, I would love to see more 4-3. Considering the salaries, i would trade Horn for draft capital and cut Robinson (big cap, limited returns). It is unlikely that we cut Horn, but I could call a penalty on him every play.
  25. Canales is ass too, it took him until the last game of the season to realize Coker is a much better WR than XL. The huddle has known this since last season.
