Going for it wasn't the problem but if you aren't going to QB sneak it. Why line up like you are. They know BY isn't going to take it. Why not have a play that spreads the defense out and weigh your options then. Just didn't make any sense. I knew when we went for it we weren't going to get it.

I went back and looked at the opening day roster of QBs. The only ones that I would have expected to be considered starter for the entire year that have been worse than Bryce are McCarthey, Ward, Fields, Penix, Tua, and Kyler. McCarthey was basically a rookie, Ward is a rookie, Penix had only started 3 games in his NFL career. Fields, Tua and Murrey were the only 3 with as much experience as Bryce. Maybe some would argue TLaw but I think he's had a better overall season still. Of the slated temporary starters, Wilson, Rattler, Flacco, D. Jones, Jones obviously took the job and ran with it, while the other 3 got replaced for their rookie draft picks. When it comes down to it, there really hasn't been many QBs Bryce has outperformed that were slated to be year long starters with the same level of experience.

Someone correct me- doesn't Dave have a six year contract??? I think Dan Morgan does as well..... that's the price you have to pay once you get a rep for firing HCs....

I think turk is trying too hard and causing injuries as a result for his contract. Dbrown called turk "strong as hell" and I know for a fact Dbrowns has insane core and strength numbers. They lift together with the 50 LB difference...... you always lift with a guy who's similar in strength cause you can leave on the 8 wheels, let the other guy lift while you rest and go after him. I do wish he had a better beginning to his panther career, 3 games for him to do so and it would cover up the low points if he made a few plays.... Again it felt like they almost had to make move/spend $$$ and Morgan was going to have DL depth this season no matter what...My best guess.

There's a reason DC wasn't getting calls to be a HC. He wasn't ready. His indecisiveness is infuriating. His lack of awareness is mystifying. He jumped at the chance to grab the David Tepper retirement plan and who can really blame him. Maybe with time he can grow into the job. But we're on year 8 of our 7 year rebuild. I think I'm gonna need a hip replacement before we get a decent HC.
