  1. Past hour
  2. Ikem Ekwonu CARTackle#79 Panthers LT Ikem Ekwonu (knee) left Carolina’s Wild Card game against the Rams and will not return. Josiah Stewart ran right over Ekwonu as his leg buckled. The fact that he was almost immediately ruled out likely foreshadows that he would have problems playing if the Panthers advanced. We can’t rule out a serious injury that requires surgery, either. Ekwonu played 950 regular-season snaps as Carolina’s starter at left tackle. Yosh Nijman took over at left tackle.
  3. I forgot who said it recently but someone said they hated playing at BOA during cams era. Packed today
  4. Bryce should have done Cam’s Superman on that rushing touchdown. That would have brought the stadium down!
  5. It really did look over early at one point but we battled back. We just gotta keep the pressure on the rams and clean up the mistakes.
  6. It's partly that and partly that Bryce sometimes shuts off the oven on himself cooking.
  7. The momentum is in our favor if we just don't panic... definitely pressure on the rams
  8. Bryce seems like he is locked in today. He is trying like hell to earn that 5th year option.
  9. Canales play calling is why the Panthers are in it. He's trusting the players to perform the fundamentals and execute the simple plays, reads and adjustments. Bryce, Chuba and XL are failing in that grind it out game. Canales is going to have to call a masterful 2nd half to win this. He can't trust Bryce or his players to make the right calls on the field. Tough on a HC to maneuver around players who can't carry out the fundamentals and basics. That is why the Panthers are in it. Canales play calling loosened up the Rams D and opened up that entire field for Bryce. TMac and Coker are running those routes with precision and XL is stretching the defense deep. Need Bryce to be able to control the offense and manage that clock while reading the defense without Canales in his ear.
  10. Exactly my same sentiment. When I said the first TD drive was the best sequence of throws I’ve ever seen him string together in a drive, the phrase I kept thinking of was “NFL level.” We’ve seen him lead plenty of dink and dunk, safe, pussified drives where any 35+ flag football league player could complete the required passes - but today? He is legit slinging it, and it has been exciting to watch.
  11. And that's huge. Absolutely NOBODY is expecting the Panthers to win so we playing with house money. Rams got a lot of pressure on them being Superbowl favorites and playing an "inferior" team.
  12. Stay safe. Yeah, he was absolutely getting mauled for the short period that he was playing and then he was in the injury tent for a loooooooooong time. I am very worried he reinjured that arm. We are likely going to be without Ikey all next season so we can't afford a second long term injury on that offensive line.
  13. I’m telling you, we’re going to the Super Bowl if we win this and avoid playing Seattle.
