  1. Past hour
  2. There's no way they're shipping you some uniform you haven't seen lol. I feel like they'd just refund you and ask if you wanted the new one when it launched. Probably just making the blues the primary, or a new helmet for a new alternate/variation.
  3. Man even after 5-12 seasons they are able to produce hype videos.
  4. Well they haven't been shipped out yet despite this past Friday being when they were supposed to and then an email went out saying they were pushed back a few more weeks. So you could make an argument that they delayed them as they'll be the new uniform and the team hasn't been ready to debut them yet, but I still don't see that at all being the case as it would just be weird to do it all after the draft and after all the rookie card pictures have been taken in the existing ones too.
  5. He ran out of excuses this past year with the sorriest panther defense in its 30 year history. I get DB was a huge loss, scheme up and figure it out. There was poor game plans and poor calls during the whole season. Like you said they started bad and NEVER showed improvement. Personally he needs to show me something by week 8 or fire his arse that week. Plenty of other DCs were making chicken salad with chicken shiit. The big issue for me, is he is the highest paid DC in the league. If you are that guy you need to produce better than 32nd in many defense categorizes. He can not have a repeat.

  7. I agree with this part. But you already bought your T-Mac jersey, so I understand your bias lol.
  8. Here something else to consider. We're already heavily reliant on rookies at EDGE rusher with two 2nd round rookies on the roster. If you add a third that's going to be three rookies on that unit and you're going to have to bounce a vet. That scenario had Wonnum included in the trade along with a 2nd and a 4th. Three rookies on one unit just seems like a bad idea. Rookies need a lot of coaching and development and you're going to be stretching that thing while also requiring them to play a lot of snaps.
  9. In past years this is how you end OTAs, minicamp, and rookie camp. Big table meeting, with the HC asking each position coach about their group. For the weak ones or ones with rookies of the non-first/second scheduled to start, the HC will asked them - " Would you state your job on the rookies being ready?? ". Then 99% of the coaches say they need to call a vet in. No coach is willing to state their or have a belief that a rookie can make 17 games in this league.
  10. This, even more so now that we know the team was so high on T-Mac, as highly drafted offensive skill position players sell a poo ton of jerseys. If we were planning on new uniforms this year, they'd have done it before the draft so they could capitalize on the hype of the rookie pick to help sell even more jerseys. To be honest, at this point, I think Tepper is waiting on Bryce to make a jersey update. Once Bryce proves himself one way or the other, Tepper will update the jersey's that following offseason. If he proves he's our franchise QB of the future, releasing them that offseason will drive a ton of sales. Just as the same is the opposite, if Bryce struggles again and the team knows they'll replace him in the draft, they'll release them that year to again, drive sales.
  11. I’d give a 3 and 5 and take a big swing. Not big enough to give our 2nd tho
  12. Nothing against any of our picks this year, but I don't think any of them necessarily justify timing a uniform swap. It's more about wanting a fresh look for a new era a lot of times. It doesn't always coincide with year 1 of a rookie. Purely anecdotal, but I feel a lot of uniform updates happen in year 2-3 of a build. I think it's because most teams don't wanna use a good design on a team that ends up being trash lol.
  13. Today
  14. I'd love blue to be the new primary.
  15. not sure if any of this is news, but a good summary of our situation heading into training camp. It's sure gonna be good getting Derrick back. After missing virtually all of the 2024 season, Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown is aiming for a full return to the field during training camp later this summer, per Joseph Person of The Athletic. Brown tore his meniscus in Week 1 and underwent season-ending surgery that has kept him limited through spring practices, though he did participate in “walk-throughs and light side work” during mandatory minicamp, according to Person. Brown originally stated a desire to be ready for the 2025 regular season, but his timeline appears to have moved up. Brown’s injury was particularly disappointing after a career-best 2023 season. He led all defensive linemen with 103 total tackles and was named to his first Pro Bowl, earning him a four-year, $96MM extension from the Panthers in April 2024. While he has never been a prolific pass rusher, Brown’s size and power has consistently commanded double-teams and created opportunities for his teammates. His impact was evident last season, as Carolina’s run defense ranked dead-last in his absence. The Panthers spent significant resources this offseason on defensive line depth, which should allow them to manage Brown’s usage more carefully coming off a major injury. He played a whopping 940 defensive snaps in 2023 (89% of the team’s total) and was on the field for almost every play before his injury last year. With new teammates Tershawn Wharton, Bobby Brown III, and Cam Jackson ready to share the load, Derrick Brown can take a lower snap share to stay fresh and healthy for the entire season. 16. Yeah it's kind of like they don't want him on the team anymore for some reason
  17. How can you not afford a guy you drafted? They are slotted contracts? This never happens. This isn't baseball lol.
  18. Something happened. Anyone drafting him knew they were drafting a boom or bust guy who had to a lot of potential but hadn't done much of anything on an actual football field. Something happened between the draft and now to make them have buyer's remorse on that pick.

  20. Well we would give him a fair contract!! The Bengals should be ashamed of themselves
  21. They've spent all their cap on a QB and two WRs. Re-signing Tee Higgins to a mega deal was a serious mistake IMO. They don't have a defense or an OL. They were in a situation where they had to let him walk IMO.
  22. Even in Scourton's down season he still managed more sacks than Stewart got in his entire collegiate career.
  23. Not if you are the bungels, they have seriously fuged this situation up as well as the trey Hendrickson thing.
