This means we can't trade the other one at the deadline

It’s nobody’s business how XL lives his life, football related or not. It’s his bank account. Just as it is with any other career, in the NFL, everybody is replaceable. I’m sure his contract has numerous infractions that will result in a breach.
-
Laughs at all who bash XL. He was as I expected him to be on his ROOKIE year. He is the one in the receiving room who stands the most to gain with the new additions on offense. But, dont let me stop y'all from doing what you're doing.
-
Proud of XL.

Ehlers is talking to everyone. Multiple sources have said as much.

Conditions on the 2026 1st Round Pick: - If neither pick (DAL or NYR) is in the top ten of the 2026 draft, the Rangers shall receive the better of the two 2026 first round draft picks. - If one pick is in the top ten and the other is not, the top ten pick shall not be transferred and New York shall receive the lesser of the two first round picks. - If both picks are in the top ten of the 2026 draft, New York shall receive the better of Carolina's 2027 first round pick and Dallas's 2027 first round pick. Pretty sure that's supposed to be Car and not NYR on the first part but I copied this from Seravalli

All of this is for the right to lose to Florida in 6 anyways it's hard to be pressed about AAV and picks
-
He'd have been more valuable in that scenario, but I'd rather have someone else.
-
His contract wouldn't be bad if Staal had retired like everyone thought he was going to do and KK was on the third line where he's supposed to be. Problem is that Staal didn't retire so team is stuck with two third line centers.
-
KK is what happens when these contracts don’t pan out. Not terrible but hard to move.
-
Need to offload KK. Maybe hope for more than 1 win finals lol

Well...first off, I think it's a little harsh to say that X "is not productive at all on the field." He wasn't good, but he was hurt, and we saw some flashes nevertheless, especially as it pertains to getting open. There was enough there to hope for improvement, but of course nothing is guaranteed. Secondly, X is a man of the people. People can relate to him. Cam came in---what can be perceived as arrogant (whether true or not---that's a whole nother debate). I had more than a few people, from my country, white late-50ish boss to more urban, black students from the North, to my now dearly-departed 98 year old grandma tell me that Cam thought that he was all that and a bag of potato chips. Cam always had a perception problem in my opinion, and some people just aren't going to like him. Mind you, I've defended Cam on many occasions, but If I'm gonna hang out, I'd pick X from what I know about both guys. Getting back to the field, X is still just starting and receivers just generally have way less opportunities to fug up than a QB. For now, X is perceived to be a guy that takes full responsibility for his inadequacies, and by pretty much all accounts, he works hard and isn't relying on his uber talents to get him through like it's a predestined entitlement to be a star. Some may say that Cam took his talents for granted, right or wrong, and that he never really improved because he was so much more talented athletically in some respects than most of his peers--he was comfortable where he was. I'm not saying all that's true or even fair, but one thing I will say is that no way I'm putting Cam ahead of Pep or Smitty in terms of being the best player in franchise history; others can believe he's the best, but for me he'll never be better than third at this point.

Love bringing Mann back. Now ship Green out for a center.
-
And truthfully it’s an eastern conference final roster. Miller hopefully Ehlers and we trade for a second center in a few months or during the season and that’s how we get past Florida we’re very close.
-
Tre Mann back on a 3 year deal
-
Expect the ol’ Tulsky trade down in next years draft. We only have a first and two sixths.
-
Yea absolutely. I was mostly referring to locking him in for 8 years.
-
So the Canes current roster is: Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Hall - Kotkaniemi - Stankoven Carrier - Staal - Martinook Robinson - Jankowski - Blake Jaaska Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov Miftakhov Call-Up’s: Nadeau, Robidas, Fensore, Primeau (if he’s signed)
-
He leans goon/enforcer, which we haven't had in a minute. I do like that.
-
Yeah and I remember when they signed Taresenko.... And acquired Hertl
-
Maybe, that first might not convey and it ends up being a second and Morrow for him.
-
haha and I came here expecting to see this video https://x.com/RouteGod/status/1939677639935144258
-
Not sure how to feel about KAndre Miller. Could be a great signing but it could also be pretty bad. I like that he’s only 25. I assumed he was older because he’s been around for years now.
-
He will be a cane tmrw.

About 8 minutes ago, the sporting news is reporting that Ehlers is down to 2 teams; Carolina and Washington.
