  1. Past hour
  2. It takes years, even decades, to build a culture. I don't think many of us realized we were in the good days when we were. What we've learned from Tepper is that culture can be destroyed much quicker than it can be built. Unpopular opinion but I think he's learned and mostly stepped aside. Maybe Morgan can rebuild what once was, but it looks like we're 5+ years out.
  3. Can't both be true? There's enough suck on this team for both young and evero
  4. The Panthers won the other games at the beginning of the year were the defense held them to 22 and 17 points as well but they only scored 22 and 20 points themselves I don't think your argument passes the test.
  5. Honestly before this last game most ppl here were hopeful that Bryce would play better. There's no more excuses left for Bryce
  6. And they still gave up 22 points. Then the next two weeks 36 and 38…..all without Bryce. If you want to say Bryce should be carrying this team like Cam did. Yea maybe. But I’m not confident with this defense that even Cam could win more than a few games. It’s historically bad( as evidenced by last year) and led by a coordinator that will be out of the league working at Walgreens once he gets fired.
  7. If WRs can catch then Bryce would have 300+ yards a game if the O-line can block for more than 5 seconds then Bryce can scan the field with his S2+pro max processor of a brain If the defense can make stops then Bryce can cook on offense Bryce needs all the stars to align, everyone else needs to play the perfect game, in order to succeed. We have deficiencies all throughout the roster, but Bryce is the biggest one. That's why he's talked about the most. We were promised and gaslit into expecting a generational superstar at the QB position. That hasn't transpired and all evidence points to it never transpiring.
  8. Really? What other thread are you talking about because this is the only post I have started in a year or so. Secondly, am I only allowed to create a thread that has to do with how badly Young is doing. That's rich LOL. I was only half serious when I said the forums name should be changed but I guess I was right.
  9. This is just wrong. This defense was historically bad last season. Bryce has to turn this around very fast or we will move on but saying all the losses are his fault is ludicrous.
  10. Well, that Dalton game produced the most passing yardage on the year. And the D coincidentally allowed less yards and points than they averaged on the year. Probably because it resulted in the best TOP all year….offense keeps a bad D off the field
  11. Maybe because once again, a 1st round pick has gone to adding another piece for BY. 2nd round edge rushers are rarely going to be massive impact players as rookies and our LB corps is thinner than porta-potty TP. Our defense isn't good because our resources have been spent on our offense. If we had spent 3 years worth of resources on defense, this conversation would be more than warranted.
  12. What rock have you been hiding under? We've discussed the defense on here since the game. Hell we've talked about it since Evero got here.
  13. Also I would say 98% of the huddle is in agreement Evero is not it. But no discussion about the defense changes the fact that we have invested exorbitant resources in the offense via the draft and free agency in our attempt to make Bryce Young a serviceable starter.
  14. I bet Evero is in meetings like “If we had any other quarterback, I would not have given up the most points by any defense in NFL history” oh wait how many points did Andy Dalton have to score to win his one game last year…. The defense is honestly BY FAR our biggest problem. Bryce Young’s play may be #2 and whoever decided to decide that turnstile instead of Brady Christensen who played BETTER than Icky when he was in at LT is firmly #3. We will see if that is still the order after week 2 if Bryce steps up his play.
  15. You create yet another thread about this subject don't get the responses you like and then proceed to complain about the platform as a whole. Stop creating threads.
  16. I think league wide, there just aren’t a lot of TEs where that’s a high % play. Are there even 10 really good rec TEs in the entire NFL right now? Might be but you would probably have to really think about it. Just seems like a tough ask to count as a should be. PFF counts it as a straight up drop.
  17. The Panthers had the worst defense in the history of the NFL last season and yet somehow, instead of commenting on how dissappointed they are in it or why might be the cause of it or how frustrated they are, the first 7 responses are all about BY. This place really has gone to crap. It's a one themed forum. Just change the name to the Bryce Young Sucks forum and quick pretending you car about the rest of the team.
  18. The real problem is David Tepper. Bryce Young is just one of his many mistakes.
  19. If you want the REAL problem, then look at my profile picture. Until he's gone, nothing is ever going to change.
  20. Nobody is ignoring it. It’s just we’ve invested all our resources into drafting Young, finding him weapons, and signing offensive linemen. We’ve had one of the least talented defenses in the league and an offense who keeps giving the ball away or going 3 and out. Whether Evero is a good coach or not…. He’s certainly more capable than what he’s shown here.
  21. Huddler A: hey, this D stinks Huddler B : I mean, yeah, it does. I think people just agree. Weak talent, weak coach. It’s gonna be bad this year. Everything has been dumped into the O. And it’s bottom of the league. if we had the most expensive DL in the entire NFL and had spent the last 3 first round picks to go along with that DL….people would be raging about it more
  22. Nearly every resource the last 3 years has gone into surrounding BY. There has been little to devote to the defense and Bryce still looks completely out of his depth.
  23. It wouldn't matter if we had the 85 Bears defense, Bryce is a former #1 overall pick who hasn't played playoff caliber football in his entire career, so yea, he's going to be the main discussion point. It's the NFL in 2025, if you don't have a QB, that is your real problem, no matter what other problems you have.
  24. You ask this question while just casually glossing over the fact that we are dedicating the highest amount of salary cap to the offensive line across the entire league and we are ahead of the 2nd and 3rd teams by a very significant amount. That is a huge contributing factor for why the defense is in the state that it's in. So complaining about the defense in a context of making excuses for the offense and specifically the QB is only going to result in people questioning your sincerity on the subject.
  25. That's about all he did. Unfortunately there's that whole rest of the draft and roster building thing that he sucked at doing. If Hurney is the best we can do in 3 decades, that's not really something to brag about.
