  2. Sanjay I do believe….every time I hear the talking heads predict a top ten TE to us I pray that we’re not the team dumb enough to do it. Because it has never paid off ha
  3. Alright you draft nerds, if the rams first offer had the panthers at +2 what would that trade look like moving down 18 spots?
  4. Oh boy....this is a borderline post. What was the TE nut that posted here for years until he was banned?
  5. Yesterday
  6. I've looked over the list, its got seahawks starter and simmions....John Johnson with Evero ties. Amos was another big name at one time. Look even Jamal Adams of 6th overall and Seattle trade 1sts+ for is still out there(yes he's look bad). Even just like Clowney, the first spot teams cut from is safety. I guess...Ive talked myself into thinking its not that big of issue. Bonus- Panthers gave this UDFA safety 300,000 guaranteed- https://gophersguru.com/2025/04/01/unheralded-to-undeniable-jack-hendersons-relentless-pursuit/ Panthers gave this safety 244,000 guaranteeed- https://www.1011now.com/2024/09/27/nebraska-footballs-isaac-gifford-earns-national-recognition/ Plus another small school guy who looks the part, sooooo like the old gettlegut use to say in dire roster times- "Maybe the answer is on the roster".

  8. If I ran the teams unless I had elite HOFer type players- Im not paying safety, LBs, or RBs. I would pour resources into TE and somehow land 2 top 10 guys and pay them the current market/happy money. This is something I believe the NFL is totally wrong on and has been for some time. Basically whatever allows me to control the middle of the field, Im spending all the juice there until I reach the level needed.
  9. My "WTF" is its been 30 years as a team, during which they've had many good-great RBs and 7,000 is the tops??? NFL is just 100x harder than most think. I'd figure someone would have 10,000+, especially looking at the names. They tried to replace Huddard two different times as well- sanders contract and drafting brooks. Both blew up in their face and to save face, resign the standard Hubbard.
  10. Yeah people are crazy that’s an all QB issue. You can scheme away( IF the coaches adjust) certain things but also teams are searching for a weakness. Best move right now is to give Bryce a chance to be the guy. If he’s not the answer the next QB walks into a much better situation
  11. This is me as well. Pour resources into the lines, draft, cash, and staff. I would also say it makes it easier to win, but great coaching can scheme up lesser lines.
  12. Agreed. If not.....oooof. You have to assume his seat is gonna be pretty hot at this point
  13. I'm really hoping that his input on this off-season's defensive roster moves were of far less significance than we were led to believe about his input last off-season.
  14. And then you see preseason talks about "Evero guys" like DJ Johnson when everyone can acknowledge his JAG status is pretty evident. I think the worst part about the whole Evero fiasco is that we will likely have to do a mild rebuild anyway for his eventual successor with a chunk invested already in "Evero guys."
  15. Yeah, this is a prove it year for Evero IMO. I haven't been impressed. A lot was made of his personal involvement in our defensive free agent acquisitions last year and it culminated in the worst defense in NFL history. I get it, losing Brown was a HUGE blow but c'mon... it's not like adding Brown turns the worst D in history into a serviceable unit. We were gonna suck hard regardless.
  16. I expect improvements but ultimately fan dissatisfaction on offense and slight improvements to the defense which leaves the fanbase loudly calling for Evero's head. That's my prediction for short term path. Which, I can be okay with that. I just need to see that we have more OBVIOUS core players emerge. If that happens, I am good.
  17. This is the one and only time I will listen to what Aaron Rodgers has to say on a subject of any kind. Let him cook.
