  1. Past hour
  2. Still... can't be the ROI that Vikings expected for what they gave up?
  3. I'm beginning to give up on him. Still hope he can turn into a Highend WR3 to finish out his rookie contract. Just hurts when see so many players the next few picks after him pan out. Obviously Keon Coleman or Ladd but even defense. Sweat, Fiske, Dejean, Sainrstill, or Cooper. We are our own worst enemy.
  4. I do. He signed a contract to do a job. If he decides to opt out after that contract runs out its one thing, but he signed up to take the cash and should have the honor to do his darndest to earn it.
  5. He wanted to retire at home cant blame him
  6. XL, Jones and Wonnum out might be a blessing in disguise. If the new guys can continue to show promise, maybe Jones/Wonnum can be relegated to being the rotational/situational guys. XL.....that's better off being a long term benching.
  7. It's hard for dudes in the trenches all of a sudden going up against grown ass man strength with everyone on that opposing OL having a deeper bag of tricks than they do right now.
  8. Loss coming up on Sunday for the Panthers.
  9. Yeah, we will see what happens, I guess.
  10. IDK about that. I am not seeing many wins on that remaining schedule.
  11. When did Wonumm get injured did he finish the game last week ??
  12. Aaaahhh... Bowls??!!! Don't talk about... bowls?! You kidding me??? BOWLS??!! I just hope we can win a game... another game.
  13. What's gonna be worse for UNC is their weak schedule will get them a bowl bid -- enough cause for Jordon and less-powerful athletic department leadership to consider the hire a win. Or, at least position it as one.
  14. 100%. Total whiffs in the 1st 2 rounds last year. Should have been obvious that we needed guys that were football ready with premium picks. Fortunately, this year's class is looking dramatically better.
  15. I think he'll be fine in the long run. I remember Derrick Brown getting pushed around like he was on skates at first.
  16. Game status Tmac - questionable (calf) Hubbard - questionable (calf) Wharton - questionable (hammy) *all questionable were limited participants on Fri XL - out Saunders - out Pat Jones - out Wonnum- out
  17. Maybe he has an upset tummy after eating too many of those BOA sandwiches made out of smashed raccoon assholes and ground possum taints or whatever.
  18. Pretty sure he can't stop the run either.
  19. I mean, he's not wrong. Ain't no way an interim HC desperately trying to get the job long-term would've parted with CMC if he had any say in the matter.
  20. Wilks responded: Asked Friday about the comment, Wilks started off with praise, saying he has "a lot of respect for Baker. [He's a] tremendous football player, and he's doing a hell of a job with those guys down there. So nothing really to say beyond that. "I don't know how long you've been doing this," Wilks said to a reporter, "but I'm sure you're quite educated on it. I don't really think an interim coach has that much authority over personnel. If that's the case, I would've never gotten rid of our best player. Christian McCaffrey." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46387838/jets-wilks-jabs-back-mayfield-cut-carolina-claim
  21. yeah, it wasn't that crazy Bama roster or that old Miami roster.... but...in his 2 years as a starter at Bama 3 of his RBs went to the NFL 4 of his WRs went to the NFL 2 of his TEs went to the NFL 5 of his OL went to the NFL No one in college football had that around them. There is a reason McElroy, McCarron, Sims, Coker, Hurts, Tua and Bryce all had success.....they played w/ the best rosters in college football paired w/ the best coach. Not sure why recently, the narrative shifted on the Bama QBs being a bigger part of the puzzle than they ever were.
  22. Stop. In his best season his starting WRs were the #12 overall pick and a 2nd rounder. His starting TE and RB were drafted in the 3rd. That is absolutely ELITE skill position talent at the college level. The next season that was still good but a significant drop off, he still had that 3rd round TE. His starting RB would go on to be a #12 overall pick. He had another 3rd round WR at WR1. Definitely a little soft for Bama skill position talent but far from a bare cupboard, especially when you compare it to the talent surrounding most QBs at non-blue blood programs not to mention the huge gap in talent in the trenches.
