  1. Past hour
  2. Just blame everyone and you will be right I guess. So freaking crazy
  3. Our coaching staff has consistently struggled when it comes to in game adjustments. It's been a common thread the entire Canales tenure.
  4. Yeah. Andy deserves the blame for continuing to trot out there if he couldn't do it. He deserves the blame for holding on to the ball and making idiotic decisions. But....the coaching staff deserves a boatload of blame for these insanely moronic personnel decisions.
  5. So Hooker was active, Andy was 'hurt' and yet they didn't even play him when it was way over while Andy was dieing out there? WTF I agree. What a cluster fug.
  6. We had Hooker active. He is horrifyingly bad but, be honest, what was the thought process behind not playing him in the 4th? If he is that fuging bad that he isn't worthy of a couple of drives is an absolute ass whipping, how the fug has he even maintained a spot on the PS?? Overall, this is just more and more damning to the coaching staff, IMO.
  7. Honestly, throw investment out of the window. For better or for worse, what we gave up would have to result in a Super Bowl or HOF or MVP or multiple Pro Bowls. He was almost always going to massively struggle with living up to cost. He has also been a massive letdown in terms of draft position, however. Enormously so. Zach Wilson level.
  8. I don't see a whole lot of McNabb in Russell Wilson tbh. McNabb thrived in Andy Reid's west coast attack. Wilson was a play action chucker that scrambled like Fran Tarkenton. When Russ hit the NFL he was the only one doing that reverse spin move thing.
  9. Wilson is the guy that the Huddle pines for. One of the best deep balls guys in NFL history. The issue is that much like his career comp I have made previously, Donovan McNabb, his age has killed his ability to scramble and that has MASSIVELY reduced his effectiveness. He was what the Bryce homers truly thought he was going to be, a guy that extends plays until the big bomb comes available. And we all saw how McNabb went out when his mobility went away. Enter....current Russell Wilson. For Wilson to have a career resurgence, he would have to completely change the way he plays the game and I am reminded of the "old dog, new tricks" adage. TLDR: He is washed. He will just make everyone but the WEEEEE LONG BALL guys infuriated.
  10. I never truly bought into that narrative. Could have easily been a Browns smear campaign. I am sure the experience caused him to dig a little deeper and maturation happens naturally. We saw it with Cam too.
  11. I don't know. It's not like they had another QB active for that game right? So he toughed it out? That's freaking stupid but believable. He'll at this time there is still doubt Andy is hurt and not just awful. I just don't know, it's all unverified. He should have been pulled but they still had the other QBs on the PS at that time right? That can't be right.
  12. CYA approach. Indy had a QB with availability issues and NY really did it the way I hope to see here.
  13. It's all relative. Jake thought he'd never make the NFL when he was backing up Kurt Warner in NFL Europe. If this guy's stuck in Europe, then I'm never making it kind of thing. Players can tell how good someone is relative to their peers.
  14. INB4 4-6 bad snaps from Corbett. Boy....it is time to draft a MFing center.
  15. Even if he did, he was rarely spraying throws all over the place. He was just holding on to the ball and extending the play to get sacked. The only logic that could potentially be applied is lack of faith in his ability to make the throw because of his thumb. If so, even more damning. So you actively hurt the team because....why exactly???
  16. Rodney Peete had been stinking it up for the entire previous season lol. It's just his job was to hold it down while Fox fixed the defense. By year 2, the offense had to start moving.
  17. I wish the Panthers would see what the Eagles need for Tanner McKee. I swear he would be a solid starter.
  18. Today
  19. this seems to be the new move, sign a vet and draft a 1st rounder. you either end up like NYG with Dart/Wilson or Indy with Richardson/Jones.
  20. Wilson could be a great new mentor for Young. He could also say, "Keep Pounding."after every interview question and presser.
  21. I am betting on Canales being handicapped. He has made some progress with Bryce but the limitations are real. Re Canales/Morgan on the general personnel questions I have been working under the assumption that Dan probably knows less about offensive guys particularly WRs and QBs than Canales and the decisions default to Canales unless Morgan feels strongly about something. In which case he probably has the upper hand A major decision like Bryce’s status/future is probably a big powwow thing and Tepper will be consulted as well. My guess only.
  22. If dan and/or dave sign wilson they should be shown the door immediately. He has been washed up for 3 or more years now. I mean borderline Dalton level play.
  23. If Canales' proposed answer is signing Russ just go ahead and fire him at that point.
  24. I agree that Wilson isn't the answer, I'm simply just saying that there is a connection there and Canales favors his Seattle boys ala David Moore. But people want to see if Bryce is really handicapping Canales or not, then let him choose his QB who he's worked with and see how he does. Also it'll let us know how much influence Canales has over Dan Morgan.
  25. I remember. Brooks was okay. But Jake turned out better. Our gain. Imagine if Rodney Peete hadn’t stunk it up vs Jax that day.
