  1. Past hour
  2. I think if McD had been where he was when he went to be a HC, development wise, and had time traveled to be hired in 2011, we would have been better over the long haul. It is just speculation, so big deal.
  3. I do to (at least I'd like to), I just don't know if we need to do it with our first round draft capital. If they do, I'll be good with it, as I expect them to stick to their board.
  4. Three of those guys are 1 year rentals, and yes I'm including TMo. He's only going to be guaranteed as starter this coming season and that's if he holds up another season. We have no depth to speak of to boot. I think they need to start considering the future of the offensive line and grab great talent from the draft when it presents itself. They cannot afford to pass on olinemen when these guys are sitting there at our pick again.
  5. Where are the concerns about work ethic and passion for football? Are they in the room with us now?
  6. I mean, do you stop trying to improve your skill positions when it's obvious that you need to improve them? There really is more than one way to skin a cat, it's just that one way is better than the other when you look at it in a historical and statistical context.
  7. I doubt we are done. I think BC comes back pretty cheap if he clears medical and I think we draft a OT and a C for depth to future starters.
  8. You can only build around a passer that has the prerequisite physical talent to keep defenses honest at all levels. You can work around spotty accuracy you can work around spotty decision making. But you cannot work around lack of physical tools that results in the job of the defense being made easier by default on any given snap. We have not been able to do that and will not be able to do that no matter how many weapons we add. Furthermore regardless if the blueprint for the success of your fourth year #1 pick is to expect everyone else to do the lifting guess what? You need a QB.
  9. Phillips and Lloyd are "first round" contributors (like that makes all the difference). I'm not arguing anything except that it's not a recipe for success to draft based upon need. To me, and it's just my opinion, I don't know why someone would argue against any first rounder as long as they bring the value because that's actually what we should be looking for. To me, to go into a draft saying that we're going to draft an inferior player at a certain position and skip the player that is superior simply because it would be three times in a row is just silly considering that you still need to shore up the position.
  10. And it was about time. Precious little had been done. Scourton and Princely last year. A 2nd and a 3rd. That almost levels out what was spent on Bryce alone. Almost. So okay, you are caught up there. Not counting DJ and allowing a 3rd to wash that 2nd 2nd rounder we paid to draft him. Then, you can start with extra 1st and 2nds to tally that up. And further, if we spend the 19 on offense this year, it makes 5 straight years (!) of denying the defense a 1st round contributor. I don’t see how you can argue that and don’t know why you would.
  11. Sadiq needs a offense guru to unlock. Have the Panthers hired one? Need to see results.....cause I do not feel Dave or Brad are gurus......just young energy =
  12. I think @CarolinaLivin posted a list of WR with some unseen rating. It was down right scary- XL, TMJ, and mingo were all on the list...........guess who was on the list too- KC Concepcion. There was about 20 names and I thought around 65% were in the XL pile.....
  13. Thats IT, the NFL press has chosen to trash the Panthers this off-season. Not falling for this rage-bait BS. Before FA started LLoyd, Walker, and Phillips were in dang near everyones top 15 list with a live brain, some had each in the top 5........ They get two well under the market projections along with other good solid moves. Dan gets philly for a 7th for a guy no-one can believe was worth that low amount. Panthers draft results- Nic starter, Fitz 4 GWers, Everyone from horn down had a impact. great draft, media- "it was barely a C-" Media- "Panthers are mehhhh" Plus Dan stole a trade package from the Vikings, I bet these tards give that a D- too...... Forget anything from these turkeys this year, a waste of interwebs space....
  14. Gross was still good for a couple years and 1.5 of oher was solid.........uhhhhhh guess Im going to get shot on this Bell was not half bad as RT, fire away. Sure not a good LT, RT was average-ok league wise, imo. Chandler had no business on Offense, but that was herniay parting gift no cap space. I bet you also forget Williams was a good RT until the injury then Motown stepped into his RT spot. But for years Williams was good. gross/other -- white buffalo -- Kalil -- turner --williams/motown That's petty dang good my fren!! Chandler and Matt Kalil were full fails, but OL has 5 players....Most times cam had 4 solid-great ones and one that needed TE help at times.
  15. Long as Im right, mock away!! TE only has one choice and that's if he's even still ava. I told you this panthers team is IN for this year and watchout for WR cause it is valued and the top pool is deep. I believe some including yourself took note(hell I think I @ you to share), now the HC re-firms my crystal ball isn't crack'd... The wild card in all is the new bevell, I think hes already swinging a big stick and they are going to change some things. Mike saved tua from the same spot BY is in.....Bevell has a wealth of exp and ideas across many different systems including the one that turned Tua into a MVP candidate.
  16. Mcderp also stopped the 20 year pats dynasty. I feel its not close either, mcderp easy third round KO
  17. Today
  18. Tough. Ron Rivera is one of the few to be 2x Coach of the Year, 3 NFC South Titles, and he's gone to the Super Bowl. McDermott has been more consistent with a better winning percentage, and has 5 AFC East titles. Perhaps Ron's COTY and Sean's winning% even each other out.
  19. So sadiq is good at screens and slants which Bryce is horrible at
  20. I guess it's more of the "Or, One Idiot Doubles Down" side... TMac is great!
  21. Relying on a guy that couldn't stay on the Raiders offensive line as our primary backup is beyond scary.
