He's done here that's for sure. I don't really care what becomes of him after he's off the team.

it is a bit exhausting tbh, it's why I've stopped bothering to look into understanding the circumstances and just thrown my hands up. There's just nothing new to add. but the rest of the team is also in such rough shape, hard to be excited. At least we've got a handful of very good players... Just wish we could get something more consistent and competent going as a team.

Just another thing to add to the long list of things that the Huddle could see that the Panthers' well paid professional evidently can't. To be clear, I don't blame Bryce. I don't blame him for not participating at the combine. Most top prospects don't. There's little to gain and potentially a lot to risk. Does he really want to go out there and float his ducks while Levis and Richardson and Stroud are throwing lasers? It's gonna be a bad look. I don't blame him for not having NFL measurables. It was always obvious. It's the Panthers' fault for thinking that these were things that could be overcome. I didn't blame Armanti Edwards or Jimmy Clausen either. All I can ask of players is to put in the work. It seems like all of these guys did what the coaches asked of them and they just weren't good enough. That's not their fault.

Yep, that's what will happen. I could see a Shanahan style offense that's more horizontal and less vertical do better for him. I could see him going to Miami as an insurance policy behind Tua. Canales has not built a system that suited Bryce. He did after the benching, but since then, he's trying to make Bryce do things that he can't do. Draft pedigree will cause people to over pay on depreciating assets. Like Darnold, with all his bad tape in NY.

They are better qbs.

I agree that the Young debate has run its course. That horse has been beaten so badly the the only thing left is a bloody spot where the horse fell dead.

Both of those guys had better tape on them at the time. Not much better but better than Young. But I've watched enough football to know there's always 1 team that will take a chance. So anything is possible.

I mean kenny picket and mac jones got a 5th and 6th. Somebody will take him for something. Or just cut him, doesnt matter either way he just cannot be on the roster when the new guy gets here

Right. Someone will pick him up if he's cut but I seriously doubt we could trade him for anything other than a 7th if we're lucky. He will be out of the league after 4 years of terrible qb play.

Yep. The people holding out hope for Bryce just aren't grappling with this. He is every bit as arm limited as Cam was post-shoulder injuries. Honestly maybe even more so. Then you complicate matters further with his height leading to him struggling to see the field and lacking Cam's running ability... I mean, he's cooked. You can't fix things that are unfixable. It's why coaches love players with prototypical physical tools. They all think they can fix mechanical issues or decision making issues because theoretically it's possible. You're can't coach a 5'10" guy 6'5", you can't coach a noodle arm into a cannon, you can't coach a slow guy fast. That's not possible.

It's not for him, it's for the team and fans. Whoever picks him up will either regret it or just move along after the inevitable is confirmed.

There's definitely people complaining about people being critical of him.

Nobody is trading for him.
