Bridges wants to jack up threes like melo and kon and needs to be getting to the basket. Miller needs to get stronger and do more of that too

Emanuel McNeil Warren + Jacob Rodriguez

I think carolina will move up to get Rodrigueze, possibly into the bottom of the 1st. Carolina is at the point where they dont need a ton of picks, just play makers. a LB with Green Dot capabilities is important enough to give up future draft capital for. - Yesterday

It’s amazing how well the d played tonight without Miller in the lineup.

It is time to Consider the Likelihood of WR at #19
LinvilleGorge replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, if we go offense in round one, it feels like it has to either be that Oregon TE or OL. Our TEs are probably the worst TE unit in the league and our OL is rapidly aging and highly paid. Three straight 1st round WRs is insane given all the other holes on this roster. Detroit got mocked for that for years and that was even with one of those WRs being Megatron. Three straight 1st round WRs plus the draft capital given up to trade up for Bryce would mean we have just an insane amount of draft capital tied up in a QB and WRs. -

Pytor kochetkov assigned to Chicago for conditioning stint. Wonder if he gets playing time in the playoffs if Bussi or Freddy flounders -

What specific LT at 19 are all of the OT Stan’s wanting? Be specific. All have issues and are not guaranteed to improve the OL.. The chances of one of these LT’s who are projected at 19 (Proctor, Lomu) being a bust is much higher than a guy like Lemon/Concepcion imo. Do you really want to draft a kid who has weight struggles along with lateral movement issues? And the other who was a shitty run blocker vs Big 12 competition? Morgan and Co. want to see how Rasheed Walker plays.. They also want to see how Icky’s rehab goes.. There’s a lot of “wait and see” at OT. We don’t have the luxury for our 1st round pick being a backup. We lack top end talent. Morgan and the others have made it known they want to win now. For that reason, I’m almost positive we punt on OT in the first this year and worry about it next year in the first round if need be. Thieneman would be ideal. He’s a natural “center field” safety with great coverage skills. For the posters who want trade up for Downs…Do you realize he struggles in coverage? He’s more of a box safety. We already have two of those players.. I wouldn’t mind trading in front of the Vikings for the Thieneman though.. Next need would be DT, but I don’t see the value there at 19.. Same with edge. WR at #19 is very realistic. Who would improve this team more than Lemon/Concepcion? I like Tyson, but his injuries scare me. You could argue a slot CB, but the value isn’t great there either. People tend to forget the Seattle Seahawks game.. Yes BY sucked, but no one was getting open.. We could use a quick savvy route runner to beat man coverage. TMAC and Coker are great, but consistently creating separation vs Man Coverage is not their strength. -
Freddie owned this game. My 1st star. Utah had averaged over 5 goals a game their previous 4 games.
-
Walker nails the coffin
-
Never seen a team have such a hard time scoring on empty nets, but lead the league in short-handed goals.
-
We got ourselves a playoff goalie.
-
Freddie first star
-
Anderson my goodness

Aho tip mm hmm

Monster hip check by Walker
-
Hard for Canes to get momentum when they’re in the box so much. Freddie keeping them in the game.
-
Hurricanes have been in prevent mode since the start of the 2nd period and Utah is quicker to the puck. They are going to piss around and lose this game.

Emanuel McNeil Warren + Jacob Rodriguez
RIPTreyLance replied to RIPTreyLance's topic in Carolina Panthers
We take McNeil Warren with the assumption that he progresses, gets smarter, hops on a strict diet and maximizes his strength and size, and he’s one of the youngest rookies… Cmon boys!!! -
Refs call enough penalties on the Canes to make the game closer.
-
Rodriguez will not only be a first rounder, he might be the second or third LB taken.
-
Best part of the game is the players in the booth w/Mike & Tripp.
