Your last sentence is the only one that matters. Until the team is ready to give up and move on you will have to watch him out there struggling to make 200 yrds/gm.

Mike Tomlin stepping down as HC of the Steelers
strato replied to methodtoll's topic in Carolina Panthers
And they are cake compared to the HC gig. Paid vacation. Mandatory attendance, but still a relative vacation. I saw where Tomlin met with his players and told them he did not want to coach any other group. Was emotional. So I would say that puts him out of the race at least for this year. Or if he isn’t it paints him as a hypocrite. -
Stroud was pressured like hell against Pittsburgh and they are a FAR better pass rush team than NE. Collins being out will be a thing, for sure. New England is a less effective defense than Pittsburgh. I think it still comes down to which QB fugs up the least. Weather may be a huge factor with LA. Don't forget that finger injury to Stafford too. In that weather, no less.

You realize that it doesn't have to come from the Panthers HQ to be spin? If you live and breath something---basically drink the Kool aid---espousing the company line can come natural.

Should Canalas bring someone else in to call offensive plays?

I would like to see play action from the gun vs under center be accounted for. Completely different animals. -
Hate the Bills with a passion but they’re winning it all this year.

I call a 3rd significant at this point. Might they take a day 3 flier? Possible. 6th, 7th round.
-
Propaganda is the direct implication that this is he being used by the Panthers to spout a message. This is a poor example of that, in my estimation. He is far more likely to just be a homer. This isn't abnormal behavior from him. It's hyperbolic because you are spinning it as some greater thing from Panthers HQ, which is very likely is not.
-
Practice what you preach.

I am leaning New England because Stroud has to overcome the noise, the weather, missing Collins and they are gonna pressure the hell out of him. I feel like Buffalo and Denver is gonna be a tight low scoring game. Toss up. Seattle at home? Seattle by 10. Bears and Rams? Tough one. Rams defense is suspect at this level, and weather and the crowd is going to be hard to beat. I don’t know. Home field vs mucho playoff seasoning and Stafford? I can’t pick that one either but if I were forced to I go with the experience.

Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History

Justin Herbert is the worst QB in Chargers history -
There was only maybe two guys worth "significant" draft capital in this class, one of them went back. This class is deep on Day 2/3 guys.

Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History
Joe Bear replied to dep's topic in Carolina Panthers
Incorrect. He was talking about Week 18. -
Even if you're somewhat correct--not totally--it's still not hyperbole. I mean, why does any of this stuff matter? Just something to shoot the sh¡t about.

Hank Hill is a big Cowboys fan. I bet XL would look sharp in those Cowboy whites with the star on his helmet. Are you listening, Jerruh?

I don’t know about the word itself, but people use propaganda as a tool through they can obtain political power. People that do propaganda suck. Stew is biased. He isn’t twisting facts lobbying and trying to fool people, he just has an opinion. I would maybe call him a somewhat of a shill though, when he minimizes negatives to paint the organization in the most positive light he can. He is being paid by the team. Also, he knows the players personally. You aren’t gonna get any controversial negatives out of him publicly.

Are you now equating best/worst rush defense with best/worst defense? Those are separate things entirely. For rush defense, depending on how you quantify it, he has been largely in the bottom third of the league his entire career as a defensive coordinator. As you can see, aside from his one year in Denver, he has never been above 20th in yardage. Now, there is context to consider which is most coordinators choose to run on him(24th-32nd ranked in his three year in Carolina). So, if you just simply look at Y/A, it has been a relatively mixed bag. Twice a top 15 defense but twice a bottom 15 defense. The thing the should make all this good/bad run defense a lot clearer is the right most columns. Evero's defense has always prioritized pass defense and confusing QB's. That's the core of his defensive philosophy, as has been reported relatively widely. As much as there are ample personnel issues on that side of the ball(many of which he contributes to with his below average talent evaluations) his defenses may never be truly elite in rush and pass defense unless they are stocked with defensive talent. Like....his Denver defense that he inherited was. To that point, if you look at all those rankings from the three years Fangio(of whom Evero is a noted disciple) it shows a progression of getting steadily better into the far more elite defense it is now under Vance Joseph. As far as his HC interest, recall that he was a hot commodity after Denver and that cooled significantly after his first two years here. I suppose if you count getting interviews for HC positions as a benchmark for being a good coach(most would not) then he is middle of the packish.

We are talking last week's playoff game, right? https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202601100car.htm?hl=en-US#all_player_offense https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/gametracker/boxscore/NFL_20260110_LAR@CAR/?hl=en-US https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/stats/2879581?hl=en-US

That was funny.

J-Stew is an ex-panther who is a huge fan of the team and also on the pay role. He also knows these guys personally. Is it good marketing? Propaganda? An opinion? His argument in a court of law? I think the real question is what the fug does it matter?

Stewart never says anything negative about any panthers player

Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History
Loyalty4Life replied to dep's topic in Carolina Panthers
Those are not hushed whispers. It's open mocking and implied ridicule because of how myopic most of your posts are. I don't see even the biggest Bryce fans unable to see issues Bryce has to continue to work on. No one has said they are ready to give me a long term franchise contract, yet those that should not be named are 100% sure, hand on the bible facts that Bryce is the worst ever. That anyone that sees progress, improvement or a version of Bryce that could become that franchise QB are morons and it's impossible for there to be an validity to possibility. If one side of a discussion is extremely dogmatic on every single point it's hard to have a legitimate or good faith argument. -
If you know your world history, you will know this has always been a charged word.
