  1. Past hour
  2. And yet some of the completions he made were amazing, including some made under heavy pressure. Do I want Bryce as the "franchise" quarterback? Not convinced... But I'm gonna make that decision based on an honest assessment, not a biased one.
  3. That's the point of this post. What's the plan? Probably a mid round pick on a QB that was in a crappy program but has the tools but that player is, at minimum, one full season as the backup.
  4. That was a weird situation where you had an organization that was stuck in the mud despite having a franchise QB. They decided to trade a 32 year old franchise QB because they didn't think they were going to be in a position to win with him before he was over the hill and that he was more valuable to them in draft assets to build for the future. It was also one of these weird trade situations where both teams won. Both teams got exactly what they were looking for out of the deal. The Rams got their SB and the Lions got their assets to build from and turned their franchise around. I don't see similar scenarios with Herbert or Lamar. One, the age thing.Lamar is still only 28 and Herbert is 27. Two, neither team feels stuck in the mud. The Chargers are 6-3 right now and the Ravens had won 10+ games in 6 of the last 7 seasons coming into this year. Either team would be crazy to blow it up by dealing away their QB.
  5. Bryce Young had a bad game. It happens. Contributions? Sure he contributed. So did JT Sanders. I don't see you taking up the mantle of his protector. I've legit said he had some good plays but had a bad game overall. You're being intellectually dishonest by insisting that a bad game was somehow a good one, when I know you've seen enough football to recognize bad football.
  6. 8/15 for 79 yards and 1 INT going into the 4th is unacceptable.
  7. Vet or mid round draft pick at qb probably need 2 more solid drafts and the team will be in a very good position, time to quit trying to force a franchise qb just for the hell of it
  8. I'm not crazy about Young. But with the proper situation (good Oline plus running game, stout defense and Wide outs, he can be servicable). They really don't have a choce. So basically, an entire offense built for him and a respectable defense, they can win some games..,
  9. Probably none. But you cannot do nothing until you think you have a shot at a "franchise" qb. You take a shot on anyone you think is better than what you have. Rinse and repeat.
  10. If we trade for a QB, it's more likely to be someone like Davis Mills or Joe Milton. Or Tyson Bagent, if we want to get raped by the Bears again.
  11. Who normally posts his passing chart on Mondays? Can you please post it? This should be fun...
  12. See above. I'll repeat what I've said before. Bryce is a limited quarterback. How much we can win with him consistently is a major question. But acting like he never does anything right, doesn't have good games and hasn't contributed to wins is intellectual dishonesty. You can indeed admit he does good things while still questioning whether or not he's the future.
  13. Bryce most definitely had a bad game. That end zone interception is unforgiveable.
  14. I think all options are on the table... But don't force a QB in the draft. See who lands where to us, and either way we NEED a veteran FA more than anything. Dalton is done.
  15. Bryce is not an NFL starter. On the other hand, we are not going to be close enough to the top of the draft to take a QB in what is looking like a dwindling QB class. Injuries, lackluster seasons, too many underclassmen along with NIL is making the '26 QB class thin out quickly with many of the top guys returning to school. #Trey Lance
  16. Bryce DID have a bad game. What game were you watching? He consistently missed players and threw an INT. He was bailed out of several others. He had some good plays but he was overall bad. Winning a game doesn't mean he had a good game.
  17. So you are willing to draft one of these guys in Round 1 or 2? I haven't seen Moore but I really like Simpson and would love to take a flyer on him. The issue is. You're giving up a chance to take a quality defender that we desperately need.
  18. There's a difference between having bad plays and having a bad game. Even good quarterbacks have bad plays. Hell, Favre generally had at least three or four "what the @#$&" plays a game. And so did a certain quarterback who used to play here just a few years back. Young did not have a bad game yesterday. And please don't give me the "we won in spite of him" bit because that is one of the stupidest arguments ever made.
  19. I just think most people don't understand what Bryce does bring to this offense. His constant checks and adjustments, and dummy calls, and all those other things that announcers don't talk about routinely put us in a position to be successful. He is no small part of the running success we've had. I agree that his physical abilities are near the bottom of the NFL, but I'd say that's less than half the job, and becoming less and less important with each passing season. We've seen far more physically gifted players that couldn't get the job done. There's a reason for that. If were winning, don't change it. I like winning.
  20. Yeah the team knows what Bryce is at this point and is just trying to limit the damage. God help us if we run into a team that can stop the run or Dowdle gets hurt.
  21. We could have won this game with Rico in the wildcat, all other factors staying the same.
  22. Very childish @Captroop You don't agree with my post and comments that's cool Pooing is really childish. Why don't you contribute some realistic takes and grow TF up.
