  3. The Packers lost because they couldn't stop the run and Love forgot there was a game today. It wasn't because the Panthers were a better team.
  4. I view being in the public eye like I do running a business. I wouldn't want to alienate "customers" by having a stance on something that should be personal like that. I used that example, because that is something he has been vocal about being against. I have no idea how many players have come out as gay, as I don't think it matters when it comes to football. I watch football to watch football. Let's just stick to what we are here for?
  5. This Rico's 28 and looking for his final big payday after this season. Use him like crazy this season if he continues to produce. And it looks like he's starting to pick up a few nagging injuries like his groin today. Once the offseason hits, if he walks for a bigger contract, there's a chance we end up with a comp pick. If not, we can re-sign him to a more reasonable 1-2 year deal.
  6. I am feeling quite defeated after today.
  7. I wonder if my Pack got cocky after the Pittsburgh win. Still no excuses as we lost to the better team today.
  8. We weren't supposed to beat the Packers either. It can happen.
  9. Lions lost to the Vikings. I totally can’t believe that.
  10. Agreed Chuba's been a good player on some bad teams not knocking him for giving his all. But Panthers should be trying to upgrade the roster across the board when given the chance and playmakers you can lean on week to week don't just fall out the sky.
  11. Just because they're famous, doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to speak their mind, no matter what it's about. If they're talking about things that then cause a distraction for the team, then I'll take issue to them doing so, but on that basis only, beyond that, I really couldn't care in this instance. And really? Sexual orientation is the example you used? Beyond players talking about their wifes (so assuming they're straight), there's been what, 2 players to ever come out as gay?
  12. “Guys you just can’t forget about what Nick Goings was for us in 2004”
  13. Im not sure it's time to be confident in anything. But I sure am going to enjoy it while it lasts. I just hope Rico can hold up to the beating he's taking until the season is over. He was pretty dinged up in this game and had to come out several times.
  14. I hope the Eagles lose in the playoffs too.
  15. I feel the things he has said are more than simply being religious, but to each their own. Not going to get into it here. As I said in the other post, I don't want to hear about certain things about players.
  16. Serviceable RB may be a dime a dozen. Game changers are not. Chuba Hubbard has never been a game changer. I appreciate his service, but the Carolina Panthers have needed to level up for a LONG time. Thanks Chuba for helping us not get blown out every week I guess? The guy is not getting a statue for best player on 2-15 and 5-12 teams.

  18. Being religious and throwing a woman on guns aren't really equal
  19. I would just much rather them keep something like that private. The ones who publicly speak on stuff like that tend to be a little nutty in my opinion. I just don't need to know some things. For example, I don't care to know any players sexual orientation, even though I have nothing against whatever they may be. I just don't want to hear it.
  20. Yeah for sure. We can't look past anyone because we are entirely reliant on Rico. Hopefully we can find something else to get going because we will need it. But the fact that we beat the bad teams we've played has me confident.
  21. it's good when Dallas wins some regular season games. makes their playoff face plant that much funnier almost as funny as Canada going without a Stanley Cup for more than three decades. Almost
  22. We have no right to kick anyone. We have been the doormat for every team in the league for quite some time now.
  23. They better not start feeling themselves and over look the Stains. We are still a Jekyl and Hyde team with no passing game.
  24. There are both players from both sides of the aisle on every team in every sport, that's not something I'm going to take issue to in who is on the teams I root for. If that's a problem for someone, then they need to be a fan of individual sports like MMA where they can pick and choose single people to root for. Hardy is a totally different situation, he's a woman beater. No thanks to guys like that, or Watson/Tucker types either. No to the Tyreek's either (how the tape of him saying his son and girlfriend should be afraid of them didn't end his career is beyond me). But political or religious views, I might not want to be friends with the guy, but I'm not going to take issue with them on my teams since there are a mix on every team in all sports.
