The helmets don't matter, unfortunately. Just like the tight neck compression things Just like the mouthpiece and hyperbaric chamber that dan Morgan used. -

Oh wee mayne, that's a big concern as we well know from our experiences with Luke, our current GM, Oher, etc. Anyone who follows the fight game knows that once the concussions start piling up the chin just doesn't recover. Once that jaw is cracked it's a real tough row to hoe. -

As of March 9, 2026, the highest contract in Carolina Panthers history by total value belongs to outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips Jaycee Horn (CB): $100 million (2025–2029) A four-year extension signed in March 2025 with $70 million guaranteed. At the time of signing, it made him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history by average annual value ($25 million). -

I mean....I guess. Panthers obviously needed a pass rusher. Just not sure its this player at this price tag with his injury history. Cap isn't real etc but that's an eye watering amount of money for him. -

I honestly do not even know how to find those every place i see them listed are behind a pay wall and are not really considered real stats I guess. I do know he was 25th in nfl in total sacks but hopefully he will be awesome for the panthers. -

he played all in 21, 22, and recent 25. Again the problem is concussions- he already retired once from them. He had 3 in college and recent one week 15 for iggles. He needs the best helmet teppers money can buy... -

Scourtons pressure rate is half that, so your not even close... our defense didn't get sacks or pressures. Conversion is also somthing that is more likely to experience regression to the mean. I'll take a guy getting pressure on 18% of plays and 5 sacks over a guy who lucks into 12 with a 10% pressure rate. Sacks are a flashy state but at the end of the day thats 14-18 for an elite "producer"affecting 80 plays is a good thing. -

is it? are we signing Carter and Davis too? Also "QB pressure" is kind of a squishy stat. This feels like they're overcompensating after missing out on that DT on day one of FA last year. -
Sure is but in theory they still have a qb that at least has shown promise and they dont have to draft a dude or pay a vet the minimum. Now the rest of the roster......................

Unless he is a master delegater this is the reason why he will never be a gm, President of football sure but never gm

My concern is the injury issue. He has missed a lot of games in his career. -
