I will say this @Moonraker, I do believe that the Seahawks have the highest upside. I told my son last night that if they play their best, they're going to win it all.
-
Bryce needs an elite o line to be effective
-
I can't discount that Texans defense. As long as Stroud doesn't screw up, the D might be able to carry them. Not predicting anything today, but if the Texans get to play Sam Darnold (or Stafford), things could get interesting.
-
The second PI call was basically textbook. I don't have a problem with the pick either. If Cooks just hangs onto the ball without letting the guy snatch it from him fully, they keep possession. He obviously never had a good grip on it in the first place. It was truly a "bang-bang" play, albeit not in the sense we're used to hearing it.

Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History
Moonraker replied to dep's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well you can only go by the games they played and they destroyed them. I said in another thread the Rams are the only team with the recipe to beat them right now. -

Where the fug did this Seahawks team ever come from it feels like the last season of game of thrones when the writers got lazy and all of a sudden there were million man armies all over Westeros -
Bo Nix out for the remainder of the season
SCMunnerlyn1 replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was fine with the pick. Offense gets enough bail outs as it is. But the PI calls were ridiculous at least in that situation you gotta let em play. -
Not really. They got a hurt-up 49ers team without a true WR1 receiver, and, well, the Panthers during their last three match-ups.

To be fair, the Seahawks are embarrassing everybody right now. -
Stefanski is too busy trying to fit players into his scheme than actually putting players into the best situation to succeed. That's a pet peeve of mind. I want my coaches to adapt, in-game, personnel-wise and opponent-wise. I know it can be considered a big ask, but that's what makes great coaches great. I want to see coaches continually do more with less, not do less with more.

Surprise! Wait… Surprise Again! Kon Looks Really Good!
jfra78 replied to TylerDurden's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Kon has the most 3 pointers through 40 games at 137. No one else has even had 100. Thats just crazy. He will probably blow away the season record for rookies and is on pace for 281. The rookie record for 3 pointers is currently 206. He will probably blow this record out of the water and still lose out to Flagg for ROY. -
No way this guy is available at 19. If he is,and Styles or someone in that tier isn’t, Mauigoa is a no brainer. I bet he’s the first OL off the board. Still a lot of time until combine and pro days, but Mauigoa would be a slam dunk for me.
-
That would most likely be the prudent thing to do. They worked out a deal with Cousins though on his remaining 2 years. If he is on the roster on March 13th, the balance of his remaining contract, both years, is 100% guaranteed.
-
Yeah that was a real head scratcher. Their D is pretty good so he does have something to work with.
-
My first ever run I used BB. It destroys everything and when it had the knock down on Takers Flame it made Malenia a joke. So many options its amazing fun.
-
Yeah, I would expect them to ride with Cousins next year while Penix rehabs then likely try to bring in competition the following year. Cousins isnt great and is over the hill but hes a steady veteran useful for installing a new system. Hell, they may draft a mid-rounder this year as a developmental guy with the idea he becomes the long-term backup and hopefully more down the line. Something that should be squarely in the table for us too.

Can tell you guys don’t watch games outside of panthers . He’s a trash coach . Coty means nothing lol

im a big believer in strong o lines in general and really strong olines for not so strong QBs and we have one if those not so strong QBs, plus with one LT done for the year and another that is aging with knee issues, a versatile tackle, on a rookie contract for the second most important position on the team, is a good thing from cat crave Dean Jones “If Francis Mauigoa (Miami) made it this far down the pecking order, it would be a difficult proposition to turn down. The Miami prospect might not have the prototypical length associated with premier offensive tackles, but you wouldn't know it. His pass protection is exceptional, which is matched by a strong base on running plays and enough athleticism to make a difference at the second level when opportunities arise. Mauigoa can play either tackle with ease. This makes him a short-term replacement for Ekwonu and a potential long-term successor to Moton. And if fans don't think this is possible in the first round, they haven't been paying close enough attention.” Excerpt From “Carolina Panthers 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft: Pushing forward edition” Cat Crave https://apple.news/AYEo7NKteR6mIGHtthRnzZQ This material may be protected by copyright.

I don't know their cap situation, but if they're able to pick up Malik Willis or Mac Jones, they could be trouble. Hell, they were only one game worse than us last year. If Cousins had played all season, who knows?

I think it is funny that we label coaches without considering their circumstances. Bill Belichick has a .449 winning percentage as a head coach when Tom Brady was not under center. He will be a Hall of Fame coach. Stephanski, on the other hand, was asked to function in the shadow of the Watson crippling signing, one that he opposed (as it came out recently). I am not quite sure what to think of him, but I am not dismissing him as a bad coach. He had the worst situation in the NFL the entire time he worked there. Frustrations mounted between him and the players over the six years he was there, but the dysfunction was manufactured in the front office.

Falcons fans crying over this. They know they are screwed.. lol . Sheep mentality carolinahuddle worried.. His scheme is out dated, nothing exotic or innovative.. he'll be gone before year 3...

Bucky Brooks eats humble pie. You want a couple of slices?
TD alt replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah he was ranked relatively high among Edge rushers. Again, it comes back to being put in a better situation to succeed. Being a liability against the run didn't follow him once he changed uniforms. That's just another truth that Huddlers should acknowledge. -
Bo Nix out for the remainder of the season
Jay Roosevelt replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Brutal. Either Jarrett Stidham is the next Nick Foles or Denver is screwed. -
Look, I want that rat Payton to go down in flames without feeling anything about it. I don't need Rivers interfering with my somewhat perverse dream.
