Wild that ESPN, the network thats been carrying Bryce’s juice box since he was drafted, is now starting rumors about his extension. -
This would remind me a lot of when Star fell to us Woods is a baller this would be a great pick I think our biggest need is EDGE/Pass rush juice, this would help with that Second biggest need IMO is MLB Tied for 3rd is TE/FS Other than edge those are good positions to "need"
-
Thats the benefit of always drafting near the end of the 1st round. Good defensive players always fall and they are right there to scope them up.
-
Bryce as a starter (12 games vs 12 games). Sets up perfectly given the week we fall on. 2024 - 195 pass yards per game, 20 rush yards per game, 21 TDs, 11 turnovers 2025 - 194 pass yards per game, 10 rush yards per game, 19 TDs, 13 turnovers
-
Why. Lawrence is either the same or worse than Young in almost every statistically catagory. And it isn't just this year. comp%, TD-INT ratio, 1st down success, etc. He might be bigger and have a stronger arm but he has not played like the better QB.

Dane Brugler’s panthers mock pick

BPA all the way; make strengths stronger. Would prefer a pass rusher/LB, but fill those holes somewhere else. In the draft, get the best player. -

And great teams have good to better olines panthers had oline depth and versatility this year. Kinda things thet do not need wrs rbs or tes Thats just me -
I don't necessarily buy that. Hell, I'd be calling for their firing if I did. As hard as it might be to believe though, I do think our braintrust genuinely sees a possible future where we genuinely keep winning with Bryce. That's not my vision, but it legitimately could be theirs.

Oh, so not individual performance/production. So you can have less production, more turnovers.....but if the team wins, you are better. so Xavier Legette is better this year? or is this a Bryce exclusive that winning trumps individual performance/production? and I'm more of an eyeball guy. And Bryce is pretty much the same dude as last year off that. The defense and rush attack has looked different. And when you get clear improvement from units and other things stay the same. More wins is normally the outcome.

Twitter world with some reliable sources like Josh Norris -
If anything it will give them time to find his replacement. If they had done that last offseason they would be in much better position to move on. But as you've saw the option behind him is going to take some time to make it right.

I'm guessing you understand that's not gonna happen, right?

ESPN guys talk Bryce fifth year option
SmokinwithWilly replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
God if only anyone could have seen this coming last year and brought in real camp competition this off season. If only this were foreseeable. Right now I think we are in the driver's seat in the NFCS if Brissett had been brought in instead of Dalton. JMO, but for 2m more per season a legit NFL backup who given the opportunity has shown he can throw the ball this season and would have competed for the starting job this year. It feels like this off season we're going to make the dumbest decision no matter what so I fully expect the ghost of QBs past and Jack Plummer back at training camp. -
Pick up the 5th year but let's cool the Jets on the extension talks

Continually investing in the Dline is the Eagles model and that seems to be working -
Only about 37% of people will agree with this statement...

Having another DB would be difficult for offensive blocking schemes to deal with -
Same... "Competition" could potentially become an option the following season if he has a down year four. Next year? Kinda doubt it. Better backup? Si Competition? Nein

Dane Brugler’s panthers mock pick

Peter Woods would be a good pick if he is there in the middle of the 1st round. Bailey and Faulk at Edge, Arvell Reese (if he somehow drops because ILB aren't valued), or Terrell at CB all have my attention also. I do think there is some pretty good talent at the top part of this draft at the non-QB positions -

In our history we've had great linebackers that have turned us into Super Bowl contenders. Mills, Morgan, Beason and Luke. I would love to see another side-to-side linebacker and get back to greatness. -
Tampa's remaining schedule
Carolina Cajun replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
As someone said, divisional games are always tricky, that said they SHOULD take care of business vs NO and ATL, though I'd watch atlanta, they always seem to have Tampas number, only lost by 3 in week 1 and swept them last year. The big key to me is I think Miami, I think Miami is really feeling themselves right now and the team somehow seems to have rallied around Mcdaniel. After starting 1-6, theyve won 4 of their last 5 and now are 5-7. As history has shown, under McDaniel, the Dolphins can either be EXTREMELY hot or EXTREMELY cold and they seem to be on the hot side right now. Dont be surprised if they drop that game down in Miami too. Basically, our schedule comes down to this, 1 very Layup (SHOULD BE LAYUP THAT IS!), 1 game that will be brutal and hard to win (seattle) and then 2 games to determine the division. -
By wins, and by what I see on the field... And come on, dude. You know I don't go by stats. If you're posting them for the sake of others, fine. But you've debated me enough times to know that's not gonna sway me
