  1. Past hour
  2. They have about 30,000,000 which is middle of the pack and not a lot of flexibility to restructure more cap. They also have notable free agents to try to resign. -Kaden Elliss -Kyle Pitts -Elijah Wilkinson -Arnold Ebiketie -Leonard Floyd -David Onyemata -Dee Alford -Tyler Allgeier Oh and no first round pick. Bucs will implode next year, Falcons will be rebuilding. It will be us and the Saints fighting it out.
  3. That defensive line is fine, they don't have the players behind them at LB to be really really good against the run. Pff also have his stats wrong, they gave him less sacks, less pressures and less QB hits than any other service or what the NFL officially gave Burns.
  4. It might, he had 42 stops on the year. So that probably plays a part in it for sure.
  5. BC cannot be involved in the plan because if Mays gets injured for any reason, we have zero players capable of playing center on the roster. That only works if we also re-sign Corbett, which I am a fan of making that move, provided the price is correct....which is as a backup IOL. Also, expecting BC to suddenly be back to 100% in the middle or end of the season is also unwise, IMO. I think most are going to realize what they did with BC last year, this theoretical free agent market for him is small to nonexistent. I don't think resigning him will be expensive or difficult and we should do so.....as a backup. I would personally try very hard to get Linderbaum and/or draft a center. Preferably with the ability to be a backup guard. I like Mays, as a backup. I do not like him as a starter. I like him more than Corbett as a starter but Corbett as a center was always insanely stupid.
  6. They still haven’t hired a GM yet. Ryan is just the leadership figurehead. They still need to get a GM in the building
  7. If the Texans win today, they are going to have Stidham looking like rookie year Darnold next week.
  8. The Panthers have swung for the fences a lot since the Teppers have been here.
  9. Spoiler alert: You had so many shrooms you didn't realize the bar was empty and also closed.
  10. While we didn't get the compensation we should have for Burns, it's delusional to act like he was a force when he played for us. He had double digit sacks ONCE as a Panther. Getting rid of him was the right decision. Hell, in 2024 he put up another lackluster season for the Giants. He's been a "great" player for one season. 2025. That's it.
  11. He saw the sht show early, thats why he retired...doubt he wants anything to do with it.
  12. No. I've just watched 3 seasons of Bryce Young masquerading as an NFL QB. There's zero emotion in the statement. He's objectively awful.
  13. They hired all these consultants for this?
  14. I don’t know how ESPN is doing it but the NYG had one of the worst run defenses on record since they started measuring EPA. They allowed .190 EPA per rush and something like 150 rush yards per game. When I caught a few games it was obvious he was still a major problem for him. It was one of his most productive years no doubt, but he was part of arguably the worst defensive line in the league. PFF had him at his lowest rush d mark in his career too.
  15. If we sign Mays and BC, I bet we do nothing at C---even if BC will not be ready until October or so. Not sure I like the plan, they are a bit light in the loafers. All are developmental too. I am higher on Mays than most, fwiw, because at 26 he is entering his prime and he has been improving since settling into one position. I think he is going to be solid and he does a lot of things well. There are days, however, when I want A gap more secure--I won't lie. Mays could test the waters, in fact. If I were him, I would. He was released, re-signed, put behind Corbett twice when he was arguably better. C will be interesting.
  16. Today
  17. This will be a disaster just watch I'm shocked they hired this guy
  18. Regardless of what we fans think, every single.player of the 2015 Panthers, praise Rivera as the BEST coach they ever played for.
  19. I think we have to go edge in free agency now if we can find one, and maybe LB.
  20. I think the combine separates OTs as much or more than any other position. I think we will be drafting a T from utah.
  21. I agree. Just not sure about all the dynamics. I know his relationship with Watson was dysfunctional, Myles talked about wanting out, etc. However, I am not sure how versatile he is. Specifically, who was out of position in your estimation? What adjustments did you want to see against what teams? I did not keep up with the Browns like you did, so I am just curious.I do, however, agree 100% with your premise. For the past year, I have been working 60 hours per week, so I am out of the loop.
  22. Eagles interviewing Jim Bob Cooter for offensive coordinator while he was at Tennessee, he got really drunk one night and crawled into the wrong window and got into a random girls bed thinking it was his girlfriend. the cops showed up, realized who it was, realized what had happened (his girlfriend was like one house over) and just kinda let it die. The girls family was given box seats. sec football baby
  23. We'll never know what Morris would've done next season. Hell, Gruden took Tony Dungy's team to the Super Bowl and won. I believe that Tony Dungy would've won. We'll never know. Those are facts! Crystal balls are overrated.
