  1. Past hour
  2. Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st. I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position. I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
  3. I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
  4. I think they are watching to see who’s going to be available before they make theirs official. Probably working trades too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t cut anyone today.
  5. You seem to have a very loose definition of good. Understandable being a Panthers fan. But turning down draft compensation for aging veterans with no future is a move perpetual losing franchises make.
  6. I don’t think we are going to draft another one. Everyone has rookie QB fatigue, Morgan will probably go after whoever the top guy is in the market.
  7. WR market is to infinity and beyond. 3 years $61 million for DJ Moore a few years seems almost insignificant by comparison now.
  8. Keeping good players surely isn't the problem. Neither is not having more late-round draft picks.
  9. Agreed. Not to worry. We'll have every other thread to discuss it in
  10. @frankw Let's just stop derailing this thread with this crap. None of us are going to agree on it and it's an extremely irrelevant discussion to the cuts. Let's all just move on to actual cut news and table this fiasco to some later date or a standalone thread.

  12. Most recent news from an hour or so ago:
  13. WOW. We are gonna have to back the truck up in a few years if TMac pans out
  14. It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency. I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions. But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary. This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
  15. That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make. They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects. It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
  16. Search Carolina Panthers 2025 Cuts in google. eliminates the bs for you
  17. can yall quit bitching at each other so we dont have to sift through loads of bullshit to see cuts? Thanks MFs
  18. Trade talks between the Panthers and Vikings are "ongoing" still regarding WR Adam Thielen, says @BenGoessling. Goessling also noted that there's still "a lot of interest" in getting the trade done and Thielen is "excited" about the idea. 19. I wish you the best Frank. I don't know what goes on in that head.
  20. I mean he has won games here. But i mean i agree, he isn’t here to necessarily win games. Ideally that would be Bryce’s job.
  21. Backup QB has been an issue of mine for a long time but not just for Bryce and Dalton. We have never really been able to develop QBs or build an offense around strengths. Dalton isn't going to move the needle one way or another. The problem is in our FO and possibly coaching staff (current staff undetermined as of yet). I'm of the belief that you always try to get better. Dalton wasn't good other than one game against an abysmal defense. Churn the roster, including backup QB. If BY isn't the guy we've got to start over anyway. Who knows. We might actually find someone good. Other teams have done it before.
  22. Lol. Worst case? I think you mean most likely result. I don't think people are going to be wasting much breath on Dalton or QB2 if Bryce flounders this year. It's going to be people calling for coaches, GM's and owners heads for the mess we got ourselves in with Bryce in the first place. Rightfully so.
  23. I mean that's his sole reason for being here. He doesn't win football games. He's here to keep Bryce comfortable.
