  1. Past hour
  2. Unpopular opinion but he really could have gotten it. The line got enough of an initial push. Chuba jump cutting to the wrong hole instead of lowering his head allowed the defense to recover. That was on Chuba.
  3. David Njoku will be a free agent at the end of the year. When he is healthy, he looks really good. Older and more injury prone though.
  4. Then I will rejoice when Dan and Dave are fired next year.
  5. clearly, Bryce's family is here. And Zod has purchased one of those Russian bot farms to spam the board with horrific QB play takes defending Bryce Young
  6. That's a philosophical take. Whether or not he deserves a huge amount of blame for a certain game (specifically, the last one) isn't really a philosophical question. But since you posit that as an NFL quarterback he deserves a lot of blame for losses, can I assume that you'll also affirm he deserves a lot of credit for wins? (that would be consistent logic)
  7. Mimicking Mr. Scot is horrible strategy is not a good look. But have at it. I mean, there was no sound argument you can make against that post so i sort get that....but... It must be a weird place to be so invested in defending a meh QB 24/7 as not meh when the bar is much higher.....that you got to gaslight and create alternate realities.
  8. I suspect there'll be a significant gap between what we need and what we'll get. Better backup? Yeah, probably. Any form of competition for Bryce outside of a team ping pong tournament? Wouldn't bet on it.
  9. The obvious answer is Dan Morgan (go ahead and fire him now). He has been here since 2021 and was responsible for the 2024 draft. If we fire Canales, who is going to want to come here? Evero will self-deport as they say. Let the new GM come in and find his own HC and QB and take part in the draft.
  10. J Jonah Jameson Jansen weighs in... Alongside Luke McCown...
  11. We can win only one more game and take the division lol. We'd just need to count on the falcons to win their last 3 games and the bucs to lose to the dolphins. If all 3 teams finish 8-9 we get the tiebreaker. Obviously the 1 win would have to come against the bucs. Even better we can tie the bucs twice and not actually have to win a game at all provided Atlanta wins out it's perfect
  12. He's an NFL starting QB. Of course he gets a lot of blame. The NFL has bent over backwards over the past 20+ years to make it as QB friendly a league as possible so their star QB's can succeed. Over the course of Bryce Young's career he has largely been in the bottom 5 QB's in each respective season he has played. Cumulatively, he is arguably the worst QB during that stretch by winning percentage and statistics. So, yeah, he is going to get a lot of blame. The pieces around him keep getting better but he makes extremely marginal improvements, at best. That's really bad in an unbelievably QB friendly environment.
  13. We’re beating Tampa next week were beating seattle miami beats TB we win division week 17 and you can return to your scheduled posting of me
  14. The previous loss to NO didn't seem to have that effect on the last game.
  15. Nah, Chase is still pushing Ickey back when he tackles Bryce. Stepping up in the pocket is not a plausible option for either. It's really about whether or not they can escape the pocket. So you think there's room to escape in the first, but not in the other two? Chase is on top of Bryce when he sees it. He'd have to slip away and out run Chase from a standstill. Not realistic. Brown and Brown are beating their guys directly in front of the QB. Shough has paths to escape if he wants to. Even get positive yards. But he doesn't. The point is not that Bryce is better than Shough, or that he has a worse situation here. You could do this with any QB in the NFL. I'm just showing that when an offensive lineman gets beat this badly, the defender gets to you pretty dang fast. Either QB probably had a quarter of a second to make a decision. Heck, I'd argue that Shough had closer to a second with it being DTs instead of an Edge rusher.
  16. Rozebum, Scott and Wallace expected but Horn has quietly become a somewhat of a defensive liability. He had been in our top 4 in Missed Tackles for two straight seasons now. He has had more missed tackles this season than in his first three years in the NFL(22 Games Started).
  17. Is the OP Ms Tepper or Bryce's mom ? That is the real question.
  18. Stepping into the pocket on the two screenshots you have of the Saints is gonna get Shough's head knocked off. Notice the C absolutely getting mauled right in front of Shough. Ikey is losing, but that guy already lost.
  19. You didn't see with your own eyes because you didn't watch the game.
  20. Today
  21. He literally made the choice. That's still on him. It's a David Carr special. Outrunning blocking while going backwards. For a 3rd year gut that is pretty bad
  22. Let's save each other the word salads and just see if we can agree on this. Bryce will be here in 2026 regardless. But outside of him we need a new QB room in 2026. We need a capable younger veteran and we need another young QB. We need new life and actual competition for the most consequential position on the field. If that does not happen we will assuredly get more of the same and the fans will begin another round of blasting each other instead of correctly identifying what is truly holding us back. Our decision makers. Let's see what they end up doing. All we can do is wait.
  23. How do you expect him to step up in the pocket when Ickey is being pushed to the spot you want him to be. Stills don’t tell the entire picture.
  24. They're examples of denying reality. Here are some others: ,- Bryce is the worst QB in the NFL right now (no he isn't) - Bryce is the worst QB in NFL history (no he's not; that's stupid) - Well then Bryce is at least the the worst QB in the league over the last three years (nope, he's actually improved a lot since year one, which was a turbulent year anyway) - That's not true, he hasn't Improved one but since his rookie year (oh come on) - Well, even if he did, we can't win with him (obviously we can) - Yeah but not unless everyone else is damn near perfect (think the game film from our wins this year would back that up?) - Even so, we won those games in spite of him (officially the stupidest argument available) And no, those are made up. You can find those quotes and other equally moronic statements in various threads around the board. I know some folks always need to characterize whatever they're against as the worst thing in existence. It's hyperbole, and it's hypersilly. Likewise, you've got some who are so absolutely emotional about it that even if you think Bryce isn't good enough (which I do) they'll still call you a stan if you don't agree to label him the lousiest passer in existence It's just dumb, and it's not realistic. But on the flipside, here are some statements which are; - Bryce is indeed capable of both playing in, and winning, an NFL game. Not on a consistent level though, and consistency is huge. - He is also capable of completing mid-range and even some deep passes; hell, he threw a beauty this past Sunday - Yes, he has improved over his rookie season and over last year. Arguing against that is disingenuous. - Believe it or not, other players are the roster do make mistakes in games also. - And lastly, while I know it hurts some people's narrative and arguments, Bryce does indeed deserve credit for the winning games he's played in this season. ... Every single one of those statements is true. And since i acknowledge all that, I must be in favor of keeping him in place then Except I'm not ... Don't know of anyone who doesn't think he'll get the fifth year option. Not ready to guarantee anything beyond that, though. So bottom line: Yeah, Bryce is fully expected to be our quarterback through next year. If there were a logical, realistic path to acquire a more capable starter and transition Bryce to a backup I'd be elated, but that's a pipe dream. This where we're at I don't **** it, you don't like it, others don't either. But here We are so let's make the best of it that we can.
  25. What does it matter how fast the wrs are with Bryce he is not hitting them anyway
  26. Let's be real. Signing Matt Kalil who was at the time inconsistent at best was always an extremely risky move and largely initiated by the fact he was related to one of our most prominent players Ryan Kalil. Memories get fuzzy the longer time passes I guess. Go watch some old Panthers games with Ted Ginn nearly losing us games. Then watch Cam Newton keep going back to him again and again and again. Then read all the Xavier Legette criticism while making excuses for Bryce being swept by rookie 2nd round pick Tyler Shough. Throwing TMac under the bus is just further proof how deranged the Bryce Young defense force has become. Bryce Young can barely compete in this gutter iteration of the NFC South. Let's see him take this WR core to the playoffs in an NFC South with Drew Brees and Matt Ryan
  27. IMO, getting rid of Bryce will just reveal how bad Canales is. I would prefer getting rid of Canales so we can also get rid of Bryce. I view them as intrinsically linked at this point.
