Go ahead and make a large wager on Panthers over 18.5 points then. Not like Gannon is a defensive minded coach or anything.
-
ok that made me laugh
-
Pj Walker is a second string CFL qb with an 8% interception rate and 54% completion. Thats who we need
-
More like a firing squad
-
Looking forward to T-Mac’s homecoming.

Im more interested in our D being somewhat functional

Man, I just spent a stack on this: I'm no bandwagoner, my son will tell you that I told him that my favorite QB in the league is Jordan Love two seasons ago. So, yeah, the Panthers got me thinking about getting a Jordan Love jersey---switching fùcking teams! My wife just told me, "You just spent all that money on gold and diamonds and have all that Panthers gear, you better take yourself somewhere, sit down and have a seat." She then told me how a DJ on 94.7 QDR,and Panthers fan, was soliciting listeners to give him ideas for another team. [Yes, my wife listens to country]. She told me that he said that he had thought about it, and if players can switch teams, then he can to. Damned Tepper got people switching teams. Fúck you too, Dave. Respectfully (only because I know you want to win too).

This will be a high scoring game. Look for Young to do a complete 180 of last week. Both defenses wil be garbage. I see both teams over 30 points.
-
That he gets worse while at the same time getting more exposure is just typical.

Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable. Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island. And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant

But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer. But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield. Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep. Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.

If X can't step up, then JT needs to (if Canales allows)

There's an old adage that with a WR, you really don't know what you've got until the third season. Still, dude needs to pick it up or he'll be struggling to get called off the bench to participate in that third season much. -
No, just no. Let's ride this thing out.

Could probably get Jameis for pennies

They found a way to win a few last year despite the defense. Good Jameis would eat in this offense. Bad Jameis is just a couple notches below Bryce’s ceiling. He’s the Ted Ginn of QBs. Brown being back, FA and the draft makes the defense no worse than last year… not worthy of being called better… I’ll say less terrible. Jameis has a good arm and fits the downfield scheme much better, but he’s old and erratic. -

Eagles/Chiefs is a national late game on Fox. Our viewing area is getting Cowboys/Giants as the Fox early game so it's on local TV. - Today

What is funny is that it's used to compare Young and is basically the floor to make meaningful change. No one wants PJ back either...

Yeah he'd be chucking it all over the yard and force feeding it to Legette and TMac. I'd rather see that and still be trash than what we have now. -
Join me in betting against the Panthers this season

If we cannot stop their run game this will be a bloodbath -
It’s almost like Panther fans love to see their own guys fail. How many people trashed Cam even though he’s the best QB we’ve ever had.

I think putting a competent player at QB improves our team tremendously. Is that considered a quick fix? I was one of those vehemently against trading up and I was apoplectic when they picked Young over Stroud AFTER making that moronic trade.
